"I had to return these because the sizing is not as expected. When the smaller vest fits snug, it is too short. Even the next size larger (too loose for me) is still above my belt in the front. My coworker avg build had the same problem. My older "Cabelas" model is better."

"Carhartt makes amazing products. I bought this vest because I sell christmas trees during the winter so i need to have good manuverablity to throw trees on top of cars. This vest keeps me warm and lets me move around. The sizing is a little off on these though. Im 155 at 5' 7". I ordered a medium and the front was too short for me. I returned it and ordered a large."

"My only complaint is that the front is cut a little short. The front pockets are deep, but are a little too high, in my opinion. Otherwise, it fits comfortably and keeps me warm. I was a little surprised by the sizing. I'm 5'7"-150 lbs., and wear a large, so I recommend trying one on somewhere (many stores carry the Carhartt brand) before buying on-line. I got mine on sale, but the color I wanted was not in stock."
