A spacious fit welcomes you inside the waterproof, 12-oz. oilskin shell. This coat includes a drawstring waist, a two-way zipper beneath a snap-over storm panel, a nubuck leather top collar, and a quilted plaid and taffeta lining. "My original field coat was stole a two years ago. I have been searching stores and the internet from that point. When I received my new Northwest Oilskin ... I wished for cold weather. It looks great, its functional with a solid zipper, snaps, and draw string at the waist.

Its perfect.

"I've wanted an Oilskin for a while but hadn't found one I liked. Since getting it last month I've been wearing it daily. The coat is well made with attention to detail (no loose seams, strings, etc...). Lots of roomy, convenient pockets for storage and is a comfortable fit. So far the coat is wind proof and warm enough for winter in the northeast, without an extra layer, for short excursions around town and/or while the car warms up in the morning."

"Great service from Cabelas, I live in Mallorca and the package arrived surprisingly fast (Although with the incredibly high price of shipping it had better be fast)

The jacket is great, toasty warm the pocket layout works well. My only beef is the same as the vest-nylon zippers why cutback on such a great jacket a brass zipper would have made this an unconditional 5 star review."

"This coat seems like I'm really going to like it.

However, after wearing it a few times, the steel zipper misaligned and I had to crawl out of it.

I returned the coat almost three weeks ago and am waiting for this jacket returned with a new zipper or a replacement."

"i ordered this jacket online , i recieved it three weeks later in England,which is quick from the states, ive worn it every day since,we have had rain almost daily and this coat shrugs it all off,even the heaviest of downpoors,great quality product it gets attention too."
