Uncle Mike's Sidekick Shoulder Holster,November 2, 2009
By explorerjonfrom Adirondack, New York
"This holster is a perfect fit for my Colt SAA. It self adjusts with no effort once on your shoulders. Very comfortable. I hunted bear with this rig last week in the Adirondack mountains of N.Y. It has such fantastic weight support and placement that I hardly knew that the .45 was there. Thankyou Cabelas for another FINE PRODUCT."

"Not a bad holster for the price. The snaps are a bit hard to get together, but you can get them with a little work. The holster does secure the firearm very well."

Shoulder Holster?,July 10, 2009
By Braveheart
"I ordered the 8301, right-hand shoulder holster. Since when does a "right-hand" holster come so it fits under the right arm? A right-hand holster is supposed to fit under the "Left" shoulder!!! Not the right shoulder! I had to return it coz there is no way i can reach back that far under my right shoulder with my right hand! There is no model number on holster itself so i cant say if it was "left" model in a "right" package. I sure hope this company knows that a "right" shoulder holster rides under the "left" arm as ALL shoulder holsters are for "cross draw" application."

It fits big guys!,July 9, 2009
By mst1958from Plymouth, MN
"I bought the shoulder rig for my .357 Taurus medium frame revolver and 2 speedloaders. I'm 6'8" tall and weigh about 280 lbs and I was able to adjust the rig to fit and it still had room to expand. It's comfortable and easy to put on."

Not bad for the price,February 9, 2009
By jaygeefrom North Vancouver, Canada
"Not a bad product for the price, but the extra mag holder is not as secure as it should be. Overall comfort is not bad once it is properly adjusted. Concealment is good under a suit coat or jacket."

"This was the worst uncle mike product that I have ever purchased, so I returned it. The snaps were so tight when I opened the first one, over the trigger guard it broak. the others were so tight that I could not open them. The back plate broak nice idea, poor quality."

It is what it is,December 8, 2008
By shane18
"If you want an inexpensive holster that does the job, here you go. the only trouble I had was with the plastic triangle that goes across your back. It came apart two times while I was putting the holster on. It seemed to snap right back together I just hope this is not an ongoing problem. Other than that it carries my gun which is what I wanted it to do."

Uncle Mike's Shoulder holster,September 9, 2008
By vascoman
"Got this to tote my S&W .44 Mag in a more comfortable manner than a hip holster. You don't have to remove it when riding in or on a vehicle and it feels a lot lighter with the weight off of your waist. The nylon is a lot lighter than my leather rig. Uncle Mike makes a good product at a fair price."
