"The pack looks good and fits my son well the only problem is the zipper broke after the first week of school. Im sure Cabelas would replace it if I sent it back but it just not worth the trouble."

"It's a great product and a great value, well made, good features. My only complaint is that it is BIG. I don't know how big/old that model is in the ad, but it's supposed to be kid-sized and it's big enough that I can use it (6'3", 220). On my 5 year old, the shoulder straps are WAY too far apart, the whole thing comes down past his behind, he has to hold the straps in front of him to keep it from sliding off.
So, while I won't say deceptive advertising, I will say don't buy it for a little kid, maybe a bigger junior high kid and certainly a high schooler, but this is not sized for a grade school kid like perhaps you'd seen on the advertisement."

"I have struggled to find backpacks that fit children's bodies, have appropriate volume and sturdy construction.
This pack is great. I got one for my 9 year old and 11 year old for school and day hike use. The side pockets secure waterbottles. The cord on the back is useful. The main pocket is roomy. The additional pockets are well-liked by the kids.
It snugs around their smaller frame well. Overall, it's a really good pack for a really great price."

"The outside is sturdy, however, the inside is disintegrating more and more daily. The inside material is wearing off and literally snowing inside the pack. I'm very disappointed, usually Cabela's quality of merchandise is very satisfactory. I would not order another one."
