"This bait is awesome for panfish. Tip a jig or fly, and it's on!I've used many different nuggets and artificial maggots, etc., and these are by far the best I've used. I no longer worry about bait dying in the sun, and these waxies often outfish live bait for bluegill. I've also caught some nice bass, walleye, and a couple 20# plus cats on just one of these little baits. The smell takes a bit of getting used to, and the juice sometimes leaks out of the jar, but because of the results I've had, these issues are negligible. There have been a couple days when they just didn't want gulp, and preferred waxworms or maggots, but those days are rare. In fact, I have so much confidence in these baits that I don't even bother taking live-bait out with me anymore. I just purchased five jars from Cabelas because my friends and family members are now all believers and won't leave mine alone."

Nothings better than live bait,May 13, 2009

"I bought the bait thinking it would give me an edge. My friend was using real wax worms, and was catching all the fish. It was no fluke, because we switched bait, then i was catching all the fish, and my friend had no such luck. Also after i opend this product i put it back in my tackle box, and it fell over. Later that week i discoverd a mess in my tackle box, and the odor of this product is preatty harsh. container is not spill proof and leaks. Also when you use the bait, the juice from this bait gets on your fingers, and it does not seem to come off. If the bait worked i would not mind the smell or oily feeling you get on your fingers, and hands, but the bait did not work. Like every fisherman knows fishing is messy, and you get dirty, but when you break a worm in half, or get blood on yourself, its better than the stuff in this product, and you will have a better chance catching fish without this product."

"we were fishing with reg wax worms and getting only a few sunfish. I put a chartuse alive and caught 6 sunfish before my partner caught 1 very convient."
