"I insist upon having footwear that lives up to quality. The boot has to be waterproof, lightweight for is designed and purpose, good sole for traction and first and foremost, comfortable.
I purchased this uninsulated boot for the early season archery hunting, and also the spring season turkey here in Pennsylvania. For the month that I've had these, I've experienced no up front "break in" period. They have been comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them about 4 days a week and waterproof is 100%, comfort is king, and traction on hills is great.
I would recommend these highly.

"This has been a good buy for me. These boots are tough and well made and should last a few years at least. I'm a prospector and bush-walker in central Victoria, Australia, and I believe these boots are made for the job - as well as being less costly than they would have been here in OZ.

"TOOK THESE BOOTS OUT OF THE SHIPPING BOX. NO OIL, NO SILICONE, NO WAX, NO BREAKING IN.....PUT THEN ON AND WORE THEM FOR A FULL 10 HOURS IN RAINY WEATHER WORKING MY WILDLIFE CONTROL JOB. THESE ARE BY FAR THE BEST, MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS ONE COULD HOPE FOR. AT THE END OF THE DAY MY FEET WERE NOT ONLY DRY BUT I HAD NO BLISTERS OR PAIN ANYWHERE. THEIR SHOCK ABSORBING CONSTRUCTION IS TOP SHELF. WHEN CABELAS COMES OUT WITH AN INSULATED BOOT OF THIS CALIBER I WILL ORDER A PAIR FOR MY WINTER TRAP LINE DUTIES. "I have hunted and hiked in these boots for about 10 years. Yes the same pair. The tread is about worn out and I am buying another pair. By the way I bought a pair of Rocky boots and used them as back up and wore the sole out in 4 years."
