"I wanted something that would be warm but not too stiff for snowshoeing. I haven't taken them out with my snowshoes yet, but I like the fit so far. Treads seem sure-fitted on ice and snow. I've read on other reviews that some people have had trouble with the plastic quick-lace eyelets, and I could imagine they might get crushed if you were using them for very heavy duty situations. For my use, though, I think they're gonna be great!"

"This the first pair of Columbia boots that I have owned. I wanted a pair of boots for all around outdoor use but not for extremely cold or warm temperatures. The 200 gram thinsulate has kept my feet warm while blowing snow in sub zero temps. They are not like walking in athletic shoes but they are comfortable to walk in. The size is the same as other boots and shoes I have owned. They shed water and have good traction on ice and in snow. I will look at Columbia when in need of another pair of boots."

"I was hesitent to purchase these boots, after having such success with the Bugabootoo's. I didn't think that Columbia could improve on a good thing. They did. These boots are comfortable out of the boxand feel more like I'm wearing tennis shoes rather than boots. They felt broken in w/in 10 min's! They are very sturdy, and keep my feet warm even in minus temperatures I will get these agian. This is a great boot for those who live in snow country."
