"I am 6'6" and have 48 inch chest and 40 waist. I ordered the XL and found fit in arms and shoulders was fine but the body was huge and out of proportion. Perhaps it was intended for layering but any layering would tighten the shoulders. Otherwise the materials and construction were great. This jacket would fit anyone with a big belly but otherwise it is way too bulky. I wished it came in a tall and trimmer profile more suited to outdoor activity."

"I really am enjoying this jacket. Its plenty warm and has all the right pockets in all the right places. Good looking enough to wear over nice casual clothes to the office and tough enough to wear to the archery range. I plan to also make use of it for skiing where the handy pockets will really be great to have! I wouldn't call it "light weight", but then I have a much lighter, thinner coat for those occasions. Really glad I got this jacket and the price didn't hurt either!"

"I originally went into Cabela’s looking for a windproof fleece jacket and picked this one up instead. I'm glad I did! It looks and fits great. I’m a 38 regular with 35 inch arm length and the medium jacket was perfect with enough room for a thick sweater. I wore the jacket during a recent trip to the windy city and it performed great! The shell does a good job blocking the wind and snow. The insulation provides an ample amount of loft without being too bulky. I also like the elastic cuffs under the sleeves and the elastic pull strap at the waist for when you need additional protection from the elements. The cuffs have Velcro straps as well. Warm zippered pockets on the sides as well as 4 inner pockets (one zippered, three mesh) and one outer zipper pocket on the chest provide a lot of storage space. If you’re looking for a warm jacket to wear around town or at the cabin / ski hill… buy this one!"

"I bought this for my husband whol travels to colorado every week, He didnt seem to excited about at first, then the first week he wore the jacket he called me from colorado to tell me he loved the jacket he said it was below 0 and snowing all week and he was warm and the coat was long enough in the back to keep the wind out, Oh because i went up a size he could wear layers with it. So he was happy great buy!!!"

"I bought this jacket from Cabelas after misplacing another jacket that I had bought from Cabelas. This jacket is very warm without being bulky, and it looks very sleek. Also, there are 3 zip up pockets on the outside of the jacket, one on the inside, and one additional mesh pocket on the inside. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone, as it is a great jacket for a great price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase."

"i have had the jacket for a few months now and i really like it. It is warm, comfortable and great looking. I really like the many pockets that it has. It has a chest pocket on the inside and the outside and all the pockets have zippers so you don't lose things. "This jacket is GREAT, I have received multiple compliments on it! I like the snow-guard cuffs on the inside of the sleeves because they keep the sleeve in place while moving around and reaching for things. Coat is very warm and shell material is attractive and has a great feel (also somewhat moisture repellant). Front pockets could use some insulation but that isn't enough of a reason not to purchase this coat - highly recommended!"

"The good 1. Wind resistant. 2. Rain resistant. 3. Very warm down to about 15 degrees (f). Below this and you'll need extra layers or a better insulated jacket. 4. Good looks, but would like to see more colors. 5. Lots of pockets to stash your stuff. The bad 1. This jacket is on the heavy side, but is very durable so far. There are lighter warmer jackets out there. 2. Not much choice in colors. 3. The gussets at the wrists help keep you warm but can make the jacket difficult to slip off quickly. Bottom line... I would buy it again."

"Plus side: Warm, good looking, nice feature of slash pocket on chest. Deep side and inner pockets. Dust brushes off easily Down side: Velcro patch on cuff ripped off the first time I used it. Cuff closure system awkward, sometimes catches on pocket when reaching for keys, etc."
