sand and dirt from sneaking in. The shock-absorbing EVA midsole plus a resilient polyurethane footbed cushions your

"Love these shoes. They are well-made, good looking, and probably the most comfortable set of shoes I own. I don't wear them for hiking (put on heavy boots if I am going out in the wilderness) -- I wear them for everyday walking, and they are great for that purpose. Easy on the feet, especially if you are on your feet a lot."

"The top of the tongue thats paded with the Cabela's logo is too thick! When you lace them up the laces always slide down below the pad and the shoe feels like a pair of slippers. Then the pading sticks out the front like a dogs tongue on a hot day and if your wearing jeans they look terrible. Had them in the back of my closest and forgot about them. Put them on to work in the garden today with shorts on and felt like I was going to walk right out of them. I also agree with the other review about the toe area being a bit tight. I can't imagine hiking in these. There no good for even walking."

"This shoe has potential to be a good shoe, if you don't mind the fact that the quick lace top eyelet set prevents a snug tie at the top of the shoe or its lack of advertised breathability. I personally felt this shoe would be better served by another set of loop eyelets at the top instead of the quick-lace ones.
The shoe is roomy on the sides and toe for a medium width shoe, with a comfortable midsole that makes it good to wear all day. But for me, I could get past not having a snug fit when I laced the shoe and the sloppy fit that resulted drove me nuts.
If the quick-lace is redone, for the money this is a solid shoe. The only other negative is that this shoe does NOT breathe well, as advertised, something that warrants improvement; or just wear this shoe in cooler temps if you run on the warmer side."

"These shoes are good, sturdy, and somewhat comfortable. I also bought a pair of Merrells that are better. These weigh a little more than the Merrells, but have a much more rigid sole. They are great for hiking."
