"These are fairly light-weight but they are plenty warm. Caution: be sure to wash them several times before wearing as lots of color comes out. Otherwise, they are great if you're looking for lots of warmth."

Beware --Does nothing but irritate the skin,November 19, 2008

"I just purchased the merino wool crew. When I tried it on.. it was very prickly feeling to the skin. I could almost say the sort of feeling you get when handle pink home insulation. Even after taking the crew off the prickly feeling stayed for a longtime. Needless to say I will be returning the item."
