"No problem with quality, HOWEVER, order the next size larger than you normally buy, I always order and wear 2X, this garment was cut too skimpy thus too small (very tight) to enjoy wearing so basically I wasted my money on this purchase...so order LARGER than you normally wear (I needed a 3X) if you want it to fit....I learned the hard way!"

"This is a good vest and is reminiscent of a vest that Cabela's used to sell that was essentially the vest version of their quilted down jacket with shawl collar. The vest is very warm and, with the fiber fill, there are no feathers bunching or coming out. HOWEVER, here are some things to think about: First, the shawl collar is too large and has to be folded down for routine wear. The shorter shawl collar would be better. Second, the waist of the vest is very narrow. While it seals in heat, it can be a tight zip if you're carrying anything on your belt like a flashlight, cell phone, knife, etc.
It's good but it's not of the same usefulness and quality that Cabela's used to carry in its down/fiber quilted vest of the 1990's."

"In all honesty I am disapointed with the vest because of the fit. I always buy my shirts, jackets etc. extra-large as I did this vest. I hesitate to purchase clothing on line because you can't try things on before you buy it. The vest fits me to small and I havent been able to wear it. I was looking for a good fitting vest that's not to bulky to wear. It is light weight and I like the color. I guess I will give the vest to someone who can use it."

"Our Fall starts early and winter ends late. I have five different Cabela's vests. This one runs smaller than all the others. In all other sytles, I wear a large. This one had to be returned for an XL. This one is a bit tapered and not as bulky as others. If you have a big belly, pick another vest. This vest also runs longer than all the others I have. I like that."
