"I have seen these devices on the latest bows and wondered if it would really make a difference on mine - well it did.
I shoot a Hoyt Havoc, which is pretty quiet already - but the sound difference and vibration reduction was amazing from the first shot."

"I used this for a year and it worked well but I was eventually forced to try the SIMs product since I was unable to center the the rubber yoke on my string due to interference with the cables.
For my bow, I need the end to be a button instead of a yoke.
If you have the room to center the yoke it words well and eliminates string slap and lowers noise."

"The rubber is too soft, for my bow anyway's no matter how I adjusted it it went by either to the left or right. I bought another one with a harder rubber and it works great"

"over all good product. it does exactly what it says, stops arm slap, quiets down the twang of the string and yes does tighten up your groups. My only problem with it is the little tiny set screws that come with it are not very secure, one has already fallen out, I have contacted cabels about the situation and the parts dept is going to make it right for me. its worth the money"

"I THOUGHT MY DXT WAS QUITE AND FAST BUT AFTER INSTALLING THE CABELAS S3 STRING SUPPRESSION SYSTEM I WAS SUPRISED TO QUITE THE BOW SOME MORE AND I GAINED 7 FPS. I SHOOT 65LBS 28 1/2 DRAW BEFORE GOT 273 FPS AFTER 280 FPS. THIS WAS CLOCKED WITH AN ARROWSPEED RADARCHRON."

"Got this system a awhile ago and if you don't have or are thinking of getting it, go get it.
instantly noticed how quiet the bow got and it actually tightened my groups up. great buy if you bow doesn't have this system from factory.

"Fitted the S3 to my 2007 bowtech commander and I have found the difference amazing, a constant release of the arrows has tightend groups ( robin hood on first try ) and it has made an already quiet bow almost silent. thanks to cabelas for being value for money even when shipped to Australia!!!!"

"I have a Parker bow and love it,but was having problems with getting my wrist slapped sometimes and felt That I could get a tighter pattern,also I have seen the supression systems on the new bows so I thought that might help me out a bit!It did!!! the wrist slap stopped and I was able to get a better pattern at longer ranges!I also noticed the bow was more quiet and much less vibration!!I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!!!!!"

"I just got my new S3 string suppressor and installed it on my 2007 Bear Instinct, This bow is extremely quite already, but now all you can hear is the arrow hitting the target! This is an awesome product and is very easy to install, took all of 3 minutes and I am very impressed with the quality. If you are looking to upgrade your bow and make it more like the new 2009's, which most come with one from the factory, this will do it. Thanks again Cabelas!"

"I think this is a great product! I put it on my Reflex Express and it definitely improved speed and quietness. The only downside is it didn't fit around my cable guide properly, so it is installed sideways right now, which is still working well. I may just need to adjust my cables."

"I noticed that most of the "High End" bows are now coming out with the string suppressors on them so I gave one a try. I put it on my Mathews Drenalin. At first I didn't really notice a difference but after I had shot 50 arrows with it on I took it off and then I could feel a slight increase in recoil. I put it back on and it will stay on. The unit is well made and the rubber shows no signs of wear after several hundred shots. It was easy to install. Another plus for the unit is the rod keeps loose clothing out of the strings path."

"The Cabela's string suppression attachment has removed nearly all of the hand shock from my three year old bow. It may have added a small amount to the accuracy of my shots, but the increased comfort when I shoot has made it worth the cost."

"This string suppressor is sweet. I didn't think it would quiet my bow down too much, I really just wanted it to keep me from slapping my arm. But there is a noticeable difference in hand shock and string buzz. The only problem I had was that it was hard to get it to fit over my wrist sling with the lock washer provided. But I just put a smaller one on and it works with no problems."
