"I use this sweater during a winter trap league in the north east, found it to be warm and does cut the wind, I still need to wear good under garment but sweater does a way with the need for a heavy coat."

"This sweater will indeed keep you warm in the cold blowing wind. The inner liner known as WindShear is a little noisy for a truley silent stalk or bow hunting whitetails,etc.. But if you wear it under something it muffles the sound. The exterior is wool and is quiet like typical wool. It is comfortable and it will keep you warm. And it looks good enough to wear even when not hunting.For upland hunting it would be perfect as your not as concerned with any noise, as your walking anyway. I'd buy one again."

"Have not been able to use this in cold weather yet, but it looks like it will do just fine. I am a little concerned about the amount of noise that the liner makes, but hopefully it will be muffled by over-layers."

"This is soo good I purchased another one in another color. Great for all out door activities. and for driving in cold weather instead of bulky coat. And its been -25 here3 in iowa since I got thise.

Warm & Cuts the wind,

"I've worn the sweater several times and it's allowed me to reduce the number of layers and stay warm. I would give this a 5 star but the lining makes it a bit noisy for bowhunting but as it's labeled as upland I'm probably not using it as it was designed. Highly recommend!"

"I think it's the best cold weather gear that I own. My first one has the full zipper and I can use it as a jacket. I wear it under my coat when it's really cold. I wear it alone at other times. I'm not used to cold weather, so when I get in the cold, I really need something to keep me warm. This sweater has been my solution."

"Winter in this area is cold and windy, the "Windshear" really works. The sholder and elbow patches set it apart from the rest. A good warm sweater. Would highly reccomend to my freinds."

"I used this upland sweater on a bird hunting trip in December 2008 in New Mexico. It was warm and windproof as advertised, fit well and was not bulky nor restrictive in any way. Good product, I am very satisfied with the quality and performance. I just wish it was available in tall sizes, but what the heck, it still was a great buy."
