"I never kept it. I though it to would be as nice as their Outfitter wool parka, I exchanged it or the Outfitter wool camo jacket. It had just a little tomuch bulk for me."

"Good morning to All: This review is not for posting, but designed to give feedback to the company.
The front zipper is sewn a little to close (or to tightly) to the material, making it somewhat difficult to zipper up the jacket. You need to insure that the zipper has enough room to freely move up and down on its tracks, without rubbing up against the front of the coat.
If this keeps causing me problems, I will return the jacket to you.

"I bought the red and black version of this jacket and I like it very much. I bought it not because and I hunt but because I train my dog team in a state forest and I want snowmobilers and hunters to see me coming. I have been wearing it when I mush my dogs and it has been keeping me warm and dry. As others have stated, a hood would be nice."

"Great Coat for the winter. I bought it more for wearing to work than in the woods. Job requires me to be outside sometimes in the winter and I still need to look professional. This past weekend (January) I wore it to an IDPA competition in 0 degree weather with wool sweater underneath; kept me warm as others froze. One improvement could be cuffs that were corduroy material lined and meant to be turned up, as the sleeves are a little to long for me."

"This is the best coat I have ever had on in cooled weather. Even when the temp was down to 8 degrees and the wind chill at 15 below I stayed very warm. I would recommend this parka to any one. And the price was great to."

"The parka worked great during a recent hunting trip. Temperatures were in the low teens with a few inches of snow. I did not get a bit cold. The utility could be improved by adding hidden elastic closures to the sleeve openings. It was a bit heavy but once I put it on I didn't notice the weight but the warmth was great. An optional hood would be of benefit. In closing I plan to have the items altered to include the features that I mentioned. Money well spent. I am very pleased with this purchase."

"I bought a wool legacy parka last February and can't wait to use it waterfowl hunting this season. I wore it a few times during inclement weather the latter part of the winter and I can honestly say it's the warmest piece of outerwear that I own. I'm anxious to use it during hunting season to give it a true test. It's a rugged and well made garment that not only is functional in the hunting arena but is classy enough to wear casually. I would expect no less from a Cabela's product.
