"I bought this vest to use bowhunting as a outside garmet for free arm movement and later use under a heavy coat. It has worked superbly during bow season with several animals to bag and will I am sure be very comfortable when gun season arrives. The pockets bellow out to hold bulky items like gloves and releases and the handwarmer pockets are a big help. I was able to put my hand with a wrist strap release into the warmer pocket while waiting on game to appear. The material is quiet and soft and the down filling generous. I am very happy-thanks, Cabelas."

"it is nice but the pockets are something to be desired. the pockets should be insulated and sewed in the vest not sewed as an attachment. also, the insulation could be 1000 to 1500 instead of 500. this would make the vest much more useful in different types of climates."

"This vest is made with amazingly soft, quiet, and water repellent material. It is very warm and a great quality made down vest. It can be turned inside out and looks reversible but, the buttons aren't set up for reversible wear. It still works as reversible you just can't button it."

"This vest is the best thing I took to the woods with me this fall. The large cargo pockets in the front held a lot of my gear and was easily accessible. The vest was very warm without a lot of bulk. It can get quite chilly at times in Wisconsin but never once did I get cold. The best part of the vest is how quiet it is. I couldn't hear any extra noise from it up in my tree when I moved so I knew the deer couldn't. They make this vest in camo also, which is nice. I recommend this vest to anyone who would like a combintation of quiet and warmth without the added bulk."
