"Super soft, quiet and sheds most all burrs. The vents work very well if not wearing a pack that covers the back vent. Long term durability? We will see. I wore the shirt and the pants on a 9 day early season hunt and was very comfortable. Granted I had 3 sets though. Temps reached the mid 80`s. Im very happy with the purchase and hope they last a long time. Id buy them all over again."

"This shirt is lightweight, and keeps moisture away from your body. The only negative I see is if you hunt in the mosquito infested woods of the south (South Carolina where I live), be sure to protect your upper body with repellent. The shirt has micro netting below each arm pit which allows exposed skin to be devoured by mosquitos.
Overall, a great shirt for the money!"

"I was hoping for a hot weather camo shirt to wear on a Lord Derby eland hunt in the CAR. I found the shirt to be anything but useful for hot weather. I do not understand how it could be advertised as such. It is way to hot and bulky to be worn in 90 degree plus heat."

Quiet Clothing - Great for Bowhunting,

"This shirt was half the weight of the original microtex shirts and seems to perform well even in the front range heat of south eastern CO. I noticed there is a sheen to the material where as the original weight microtex clothing was a flat color/look. This has gone down some after several washings. The XT pants have reinforced knees, so I thought it was odd the elbows weren't also reinforced on the shirts for those low crawl stalking situations. I have used these with the microtex lite pants to stalk big mulies and elk and they do tend to catch and pick up little stickers, cactus needles/spines, and burs. They're probably a bit over priced, so it's good to see they're currently on-sale as of this review. I would love to see the Seclusion 3D Open Country camo pattern added to the line for desert / open country mule deer stalking...I'd buy another set if they do. Great zippers and pocket locations. Overall I'm very statified with this purchase."

"I just returned from an Alaskan moose hunt and I wore this on the warmer days and around camp. Great stuff and I can't wait to use it for the upcoming whitetail early season. Very comfortable and some good thought on zipper placement etc."

"I purchesed the shirt for an early bugle elk hunt in Idaho. We had temperatures from in the 30's in the morning and night up to 80's in the day with one day reaching 90. The shirt was comfortable and worked well, except it did not evaporate the sweat as well as I would have like. I do sweat a lot and would freeze in the morning and night. It would take two days for the shirt to dry out before I could wear it again. Overall a good shirt."

"A good addition for September hunting. The vents allowed reasonable air passage when it warmed up during the day, my pack straps did reduce the cooling when hiking. It fir well and functioned well enough that I will order another."

"Arizona's early archery deer season starts mid-August. That time of the year here can be a real test to stay out during the day when your in the sun without a breeze and temperature is in the mid-90's plus, if not over a 100. Over the years I have tried a number of different sets of camo w/ the hope of finding something that breathes and allows air movement to reach inside my camo to my skin and help cool me off. The XT Lite Microtex shirt and pants worked for me. The clothing is very lite and really does breath, the vent at the back and underarm are almost like air conditioning when a sutle breeze finally shows up. The material is extremely soft and completely silent. Walking thru country with lots of thistle and burrs found the material to be extremely resistant to "collecting" samples. The pants and shirts are very well made. This is a really good set of camo that I expect to be able to use for years to come. I will be recommending to my hunting friends for sure."

"I wore this shirt in the early season in california and loved it it was nice and cool compared to my typical cotton the vented underarms and back are wonderful, as soon as the breeze hits you cool off very fast, and it's light enough that it's almost too cool to sit around in before the sun comes up. the only reson it get's four instead of five stars is because the vent in the back doesn't breathe if you're wearing a backpack, and the underarms don't breathe half as good without the back vent. my suggestion would be just get a fanny pack instead of a back pack and then you would have a five star expierience."
