Great shoe with one defect,June 22, 2009

"The shoes were very comfortable and, especially with my orthotics, provided good fit and support. They looked good too. However, I dropped them off just this morning at UPS for return because one of the top-most eyelets had a defect in it or its installation. A piece of jagged metal from the eyelet intruded into the opening and just tore the lace to shreds each time I cinched them up. I;m looking forward to a replacement pair without the defect."

"I keep trying to find shoes that are right for my feet and the job that I have. I stand on my feet quit a lot and find these shoes are comfortable. They fit right and does not slip around. I can't say enough about these shoes. Most of all I am always worried about ordering shoes over the Internet, but I can trust Cablela's for the right shoes. I did order some walking shoes that was made in USA, but found they was to big and heavy. At least these are light weight and don't realize I have them on."

"I used to buy 854 Cross Trainer shoes and since they were not available I switched to 855's. They're not construsted with the same material and they seem more cheaply made. They aren't as comfortable, when walking I noticed that I have more pain in my knees and legs than usual and the shoes coat $15.00 more. I have to break them in and then see how they are, should take it a couple of months."

"The shoe in question is not worth the price. I have only had them three weeks and they are already breaking down on the heal. The inside sole is coming out and the bottom sole is starting to come off."
