Lawson Blue Ridge Hammock,November 18, 2008
By MervStarfrom Niceville, Fla
"I received Hammock two weeks ago and put it up only two find one of the net support poles defective. I E-mailed and and they send a new one. I put the hammock up in the yard and had a good nights sleep , so the next night being cold I found it quite warm. The third time in a rainstorm I did have some get in. So am trying to waterprof seams . Quality control could have done a better job . I Hope to use it for many years to come. 65 year old retired Army."

Great Product!,October 14, 2008
By Packbackerfrom Montana
"Was skeptical about trying a new camping hammock after having used a different brand for years. This hammock was much better. I weigh over 200lbs and had no problems. Easy set up, quality materials and super comfortable. Even rained a couple of nights and didn't get a drop of water inside when using the rainfly. Packs down plenty small/light for my liking and love the fact it can be used on the ground as a tent although I haven't tried that yet. Very happy that I stumbled across this innovative product and can't wait to go camping with it again soon!"

Wish I could give it 5 stars, but..,August 11, 2008
By RegDunlopfrom IL
"I give this product 5 stars for its design, but take two away for its quality. It is easy to set up, extremely comfortable, and lightweight. I have read many claims that it keeps you dry, but haven't put it to any real test yet. I want to give it a higher rating, but the zipper on it is of very poor quality. I do not expect it to hold up to years of use, which is disappointing. Seriously, how much weight would be added to just put on a quality zipper? Cabelas should knock off this design, improve the zipper and they'd sell a ton because this thing is neat!"

Awesome Product,July 22, 2008
By Wonderlustfrom Boulder, CO
"I've used many camping hammocks and this one is by far the best! Very easy to use and comes with waterproof fly and already has mosquito netting attached. Very roomy and can be used on the ground as a "regular" tent too b/c of the archpoles which is a huge bonus. The spreader bars keep you from having to sleep in a "cocoon" like other hammocks. I carried it easily on the top of my pack...not sure what the total weight is but not heavy at all and eliminated the need to carry a tarp/sleeping pad. Highly recommend....very cool product and glad to see Cabelas carrying it!"

cold but ok,June 30, 2008
By marshal540
"I took the Hammock last week to Colorado and it was way too cold at night for this hammock obviously it was intended to low land camping. The velcro rain fly did not hold up well with the mountain winds. I would recommend the hammock for warm weather camping."
