Steel Rapid Rails are great.,November 16, 2009
By PeteGfrom Canton, GA
"Steel Rapid Rails are safe, sturdy, and easy to use. They adapt well to almost any size or shaped tree. Set up and adjustment is a simple as it gets.
I hunt public land 90% of the time and like the fact that I can lock my stand and two of the three rapid rails to the tree. I take the bottom rapid rail with me. This keeps other hunters from hunting from it or stealing it. Once the stand is hung I can be in or out of my tree in less then a minute with no noise.
The steel rails let you climb about 16 feet and come in three sections. They are heavier then the aluminum, but are half the price.
The aluminum rails come in four sections and let you climb about 20 feet."

"the only complaint about the rapid rail is that for big men like myself the steps are very close together other than that i love my rapid rails and we use them for all kinds of tree stand sets. very good for double sets for the chance of ameture video"

quick set up,October 28, 2008
By riz65from Orchard Park,NY
"Locate your stand tree, put a rapid rail section to the tree, cinch the strap, lock it in place with a push of your foot and ascend and repeat. Very fast and easy, if I had the money I would of went for the aluminum due to less weight, however I'm very pleased with this purchase."

By bowtechbowhunterms
"the only thing that could make these steps any better would be the distance between the steps could be greater and the price for what you get could be smaller. overall best steps that i have ever purchased."

Quick and Easy,October 6, 2008
By jmd0496from Southern, IN
"The Ameristep Steel Rapid Rails are quick and easy to use. I would suggest this product to anyone who wants to save a few extra bucks. The only thing that would make these better would be if they were 20' steps."

Not high enough,August 20, 2008
By bowhunter316from texas
"The rails are great I have the aluminum version. The problem is you only get three sections, you're not getting anywhere near 16 ft high unless you are 8 feet tall. Buy the aluminum ones they are a little more but you get 4 sections and can buy a longer "extra" section. I can get 20 feet up with my aluminum rails, they are the best system I've ever used."
