Rain Suede has been a Cabela's staple for many years. Our new Rain Suede, with Evolution fabric, takes the original and
makes it even better. In order to even consider replacing our original Rain Suede, the new fabric had to be perfect.
Evolution was that fabric. It's softer and quieter than our original Rain Suede, but retains the same exceptional
breathability of the original. Plus, the microdenier polyester allows camo patterns to print with extremely vivid detail
that never fades. The shell fabric is backed with 100% waterproof/breathable Dry-Plus® and has an EcoNano Durable Water Repellent(DWR )
finish, which keeps water rolling off the garment, even under extreme pressure when kneeling or crawling. With
just a few quick shakes and a couple "brush-offs," the fabric is as dry as when you started the day. It's your first line of
defense against all types of moisture. You can wear it in a downpour and it will be ready to wear again the next day
without having to run it through a dryer. Evolution is also extremely versatile, so one investment will see you through
multiple hunting seasons. Because the fabric compacts easily,
each piece can be rolled and stuffed into its own pocket for storage.
Moisture-wicking mesh liner provides next-to-skin comfort. Three-pocket design includes two zippered front pockets
as well as a zippered rear security pocket. Knee-length leg zippers with snap-close storm flaps. Double
reinforcements at the seat and knees. Elastic waist with belt loops. Imported.
Waist sizes: S-3XL. Fits inseams 29"-32".
Camo patterns:Mossy Oak® New Break-Up™, Realtree® AP HD®, Seclusion 3D® Open Country®, Seclusion 3D®, Mossy Oak® Treestand®.

Cabela's Rain Suede,April 21, 2009

"Nice pants, fit great except the length is a little to long. I am only 5'6, but I need a 28 inseam instead of a 30 inseam. Let you know when I get back from my Turkey on this weekend on how they work in the field."
Great product,performs as advertised,February 26, 2009

"I bought the pants and jacket to use for all around cool weather camouflage. They are relatively quiet, especially if used over layered wool or fleece clothing. They are very light, but durable. I have worn them upland bird hunting, moose hunting and in heavy snow. They still look like new after many many miles hiking through forests. Spend the extra money to get these and you will not be disappointed. They work well as a top layer even in the coldest temperatures and keep you 100 % dry. Another benefit is that they dry quickly so you never have to worry about getting into wet clothes the next day."

"These pants work great as an outer layer for both warmth and to keep me dry. I use these pants in wet bottomland conditions in cool to cold conditions. They are excellent."
"I baught the Cabela's Rain Suede™ Evolution Packable Jacket and Pants. I only wore the gear once so far but it rained the whole time we were moose hunting and it was -1 degree celcius the gear worked perfect there was no moisture what so ever came through. Here in Newfoundland Canada we need the best rain gear you can get and I would say this is by far the best I have had yet. I had purchased the MTO5O gear and returned it because I got very wet in it. This gear is far better and cheeper. I will recommend to my hunting buddies and everyone that ask about the suite. I even baught one for the wife I liked this one so much.""
"Out in the fields of western Idaho, rainy morning, sneaking up on a duck pond. I'm warm, I'm dry, and although both my buddy and his dog are covered with briars, I've only got a couple on my shoe laces. These pants do it all. They are light, comfortable, full range of movement, quiet, and no briars or cockleburrs stick to them."

"Great Pants!" I did not want real thin pants. I wanted some pants that had some material too them so they would hold up walking through brush and whatever else I come upon. These pants are good for spring turkey, early fall hunting. I wore them last night bowhunting in a down pour in 40 degree weather. I wasn't going to shoot a deer, fear of losing it. I wanted to see if I would get wet or cold. I climbed up on a soaked seat. I sat for 2 and 1/2 hours and not one hint of water. I find that pretty amazing that it didn't leak through the seat or the knees. As for colors not matching by another poster. It is actually better to have a little variance in pattern. It breaks you up more. I like them so much I will be ordering the parka with them. And hey. If one of the garments leak....................There are no questions asked at Cabelas. This is why we shop here. They guarnatee our purchase will be what I want and as advertised."
Good rain gear,August 11, 2008

"These pants are good fitting, silent, and rugged enough for most elk country. The fit is big enough that you can slip them over your normal hunting pants, but you don't feel like your swimming in them. I would suggest this for any one looking for some good rain gear."
