"The Cabela's Mazamet lamb coat exceeded all expectations. Classy, yet rugged. Stylish, yet sporty. The leather SHOUTS quality- the construction is superb. Take it from a man who loves coats, and who has far more jackets/coats than anyone deserves- This one tops them all. The only unfortunate detail here was the naming of this coat "Mazamet". Such a work of art should have been named " Adventurer " This jacket makes would be Indiana Jones versions look like embarrassed imposters. If you are man enough to deal with envious stares, and loads of attention- grab this jacket, and don't look back."

"Buying sight-unseen is always a risk but I am really happy with this coat. Just tried it on for the first time and it fit great and felt comfortable - like I'd been wearing it for a long time. I am 6'0"/210 and I bought a large/tall which is not too long for my 35" arms. The body also falls just where I like it, which is a couple of inches longer than a bomber style. Others may like it shorter. The leather is dark brown as pictured and finished nicely. It is thick and heavy and apears to be really well-made. The adjustable waist straps are thick and nicely stitched and should last a long time without wearing out or tearing. What a difference in quality and heft vs the overpriced, thin junk they sell in department stores. I may treat myself to a second Cabelas leather jacket in another style after this positive eperience! I would recommend this jacket to anyone."

"I like the style, I like the length, I like the warmth but the sleeves bind when raising your arms up even just to the steering wheel when driving a car. I returned a large size that should have worked for me and exchanged it for a XL size. There still is more binding in the sleeves than there should be. I would recommend this to anyone who tried it on and was comfortable with the fit."
