"I've always had the highest regard for the Columbia products that I've purchased from Cabelas. In fact, I purchased these "Utilizer" pants because I have a pair similar to them. These are the fabric I was looking for--very lightweight. However, the cut on this utilizer pant is not as relaxed as I thought it would be. Consequently, these pants are not as comfortable as I had hoped. Never-the-less, I kept them and continue to wear them. I would actually have given them 3.5 stars had that been possible but it was either 3 or 4."

"These pants have two major flaws: First, the back secure pocket with zipper is too small to comfortably insert and remove a wallet, and isn't that what you want secure? Second, there is a small zippered pocket on the leg that is a narrow vertical slit that is too small to hold more than a small picket knife. What's the point beyond style? There are better options out there."

"This is my first foray into this type of pants. The fabric is comfortable and the design overall is very serviceable. What mystifies me is the purpose of the small zipper pocket on the right leg of the pants. Maybe it is for a small cell phone, but in my experience it is worthless (but you can claim to look cool with a zipper below your right pocket)."

"I bought two pairs of these for a trip to Nepal where I would be doing some hiking. They fit the bill perfectly, as they are roomy enough to climb in, breathable, and they fit me very well. These are sharp looking pants as well."
