Great idea not practical,
November 15, 2009
By Volpino

"I am a follower from Lone Wolf products, the issue with this vest is that is not practical to actually wear this vest, the pockets are small and out of the way, if you tried to reach a pocket while walking you can't reach it easily. I mounted the vest on my Hang On tree stand, set my stand in the tree, when I was ready to leave at dark very hard to re attach this vest to my stand in a pitch black evening so here I go all tangle up, I am going back to a more simple, fail proof system, I felt I have to have a degree to make the system work, mounting the stand and the climb sticks and put all together at night after my hunt. Hope this helps.
The stand is the best!."

"Bounces around when on your back and 3 out of the 6 fastening buckles cracked during one season. Nice idea but needed a few more days on the drawing board. Back to the backpack straps for me."

Lone Wolf Tree Stand Carrier,
September 16, 2009
By SteveWalleye

"I bought this to use on an API sit & climb treestand. Realizing that it was made for LoneWolf treestands I new I was taking a chance of it working at all. After moving the connecting straps several times I got what I feel is a comfortable fit. There was room for improvement but remember this was meant to be used on a LoneWolf stand. It did seem to carry well when I got the stand situated right on my back. I do have back problems and this was the reason for this purchase. I don't know if I would reccommend this carrier for anyone else the way I use it but it seems like it works for me. I am sure it would be a great fit with a Lone Wolf stand. The one thing that has me kind of baffled is the interior pockets. If you put any gear into them whatever is in the pockets digs into your ribs. So for me anyway the inside pockets remain empty and seem to me to be useless and therefore a 4 star rating."

Top Notch Pack!!!,
July 24, 2009
By kywallace69

"This is a top notch pack. I have used a few before, but this one takes the cake. I usually hunt in rough terrain and usually go in about a mile or more to my hunting area. Everything is in the deep woods here in Eastern Kentucky. All mountains, no field hunting. I have to climb about 1000' to get on a ridge and track in most of the time. I go where ATV's and horses could never get to. I just strap it to my lone wolf hand climber and away I go. I have plenty of room for all my "light" gear and it takes a lot away from destroying my back. Another great product from Lone Wolf. Thanks!!!!"

Lone Wolf Wolf Pack,
February 11, 2009
By LoessHillsBowhunter

"I bought the wolf pack last October and used it all through bow and muzzle loader season. I used it to carry the alpha tree stand by lone wolf (with the climbing sticks) and also used it to carry a climber by Warren & Sweat.
I found the wolf pack to be comfortable and you can carry a lot of gear in the pockets. In the tree it makes a great back rest when attached as a work station.
I was very impressed with Lone Wolf as a company. The plastic snaps on the pack were defective and so some broke. I called Lone Wolf and they replaced the entire pack with updated heavier buckles. For hunters who go into the back country lone wolf is far ahead of the competition in customer service and innovation."

poor design,
December 15, 2008
By mcdt

"If the intent of this carrier was to create a frame pack like feel when packing a tree stand, they failed miserably. It's difficult to attach and sloppy when attached. The fit is poor, not enough adjustment. Why put pockets on the inside that you'd have to pack and unpack with each use?"

Wolf Pack,
November 30, 2008
By TheWIArcher

"The pack is awesome for carrying the Lone wolf Hand Climber. I hunt mainly public land and the Pack has straps in all the rite places so you barely even know it's there. The one thing I don't like is the plastic buckles. I have broken one so far. But this is a must have for those long walks back where the big boyz are."

Wolf Pack,

By augrad

"Very comfortable, padded pack for carrying Lone Wolf stands. The straps are versatile enough that it could probably carry just about any brand of climber or chain-on stand. It is ideal for long walks with a stand. The only problem I have is that the the pockets on the vest aren't very big."

Great Option to have,
November 18, 2008
By jagxk07

"I had made me some homemade straps from some old backpack straps that I thought worked well until I purchased this item. This is a must if you pack your stand to your hunting location. It has quick connect buckles so you can leave the vest off if you want or quickly attach it for packing in your stand. Once in the tree you can attach the vest to the tree and it makes the pockets very useful. I've packed through some thick areas with no problems. A great product."
