Fantastic Tree Stand,November 11, 2009
By atgiofrom Northern Wisconsin
"My brother and I both finished an extended weekend of bowhunting in northern Wisconsin. The Summit tree stand is very comfortable and we have never felt so safe in a tree stand. My brother and I both feel the same way. Comfortable and safe as we both use a Summit tree stand. As far as the Titan. I am 6' 4" and 210 lbs. This stand is perfect for someone taller. Yes, we have to walk a good distance to our stands, and the weight of the stand can be a strain. That goes with the territory and I don't see it as an issue. It truly is a lightweight stand for what you get. If you want a safe, comfortable, and lightweight addition to your hunting gear, I highly recommend this stand. It is at the top of my list as the best deer hunting equipment purchases I have ever made."

FYI,November 8, 2009
By JoeinOhiofrom Ohio
"First off, let me say that the Titan is a great stand. It is built rock-solid and is very comfortable. Here is the problem that I had with it; at 6'1" I am too short to use it effectively. IMO the Titan is dsigned for hunters taller than 6'3". It is very difficult to climb with for me. I sit too far away from the tree and have a tough time working the football platform. Climbing the tree was a tedious task as I could only climb 6" at a time. It gave my abs and arms an incredible workout as I was sore for an entire day afterwards. Again, the Titan is a great stand if you are 6'3" or taller. I wouldn't even consider it if I were shorter than that. By the way, I bought the Goliath and absolutely love it."

Treestand Comparison,September 11, 2009
By Bow444from Powhatan, Va.
"After 15+ years hunting from the API, nice to expieriance the reduced weight & love the stirrups, also less squeaks and noise. Very safe especially compared to the loggy bayou that slips bad. Easily adjustable without losing pins."

Summit,September 10, 2009
By Hawkeyemvfrom WEST VIRGINIA
"Excellent tree stand. Really holds the tree and is very comfortable for long periods in the stand. It has plenty of room to manuver for those awkward shots without hitting the sides or bumping it loose from the tree. If your going to buy a new tree stand this is it!!!"

climbing tree stand,January 22, 2009
By Brittneyfrom Alberta, Canada
"I purchased a Titan climbing tree stand & loaded it up wrap around seat (an absolute must), gun rest, foot rest, drop down camo netting. My first hunt in my new tree stand was outstanding, far easier to use than I was led to believe. It is the most comfortable & warmest tree stand I have ever used. Its a little heavier all loaded up like this but still around 30lbs & worth ever lb. I am a very large man 300+ lbs & I feel very secure in this Titan Tree Stand. Thanks B from Alberta"

Simply the best,January 2, 2009
By BowHunterOnly
"I have nothing but good things to say about this stand. I mainly bought it for the larger platform. Since I'm an avid Bow Hunter this platform allows more room to maneuver for the right shot and even behind shots are easier. Having a 29.5 draw length was a problem in smaller stands since I couldn't get far enough away from the tree. That problem has been solved with the purchase of this stand. Where I mostly hunt requires a lot of walking and I was also concerned that this stand would get a little heavy. It packs nicely and carries easily so no problem there.
Everything you need is right in the box."

"Im 6'4" 330lbs and this stand never made a creak. After using it a couple times I felt like I had used it my whole life. Awsome climber very sturdy. Not to keen on heights either but climbed 20'+ and felt very safe. Over all cant say enough how much love stand, great for bigger hunters!"

lots of space,December 16, 2008
By macdaddy1234from Alabama
"I'm a big guy, and wanted a roomy tree stand. This is it. very sturdy. It really digs into a tree so I wouldn't climb the same tree twice. The only complaint is the bungee cords that come with it. The ends are cheaply made and come apart. I had to replace those with a better grade of cord. I got the surround seat cover with this, and it is very comfortable - I could sit in it all day."

Nice Stand - Worth the money,December 16, 2008
By MileHifrom Golden, Colorado
"I've hunted out of treestands for over 25 years and thought I would finally purchase a climbing stand. Well, I'm not disappointed. I recently got back from a nine day whitetail hunt in Indiana and used the stand every morning and evening.
This stand does take a little practice, but once you figure it out it works awesome. I like to get high in a tree so I can see far and it gets me a little more out of scent range. I found this stand works best on a smooth bark tree like an oak and I had difficulty with cherry trees due to the bark. The stand would still go up the cherrys, but was noisy and the cable would get stuck on the bark from time to time. Smaller diameter trees seemed easier to climb as well.
The best thing I like about this stand besides getting up high in a tree is the comfort of the suspended seat. Man, it was comfortable!!! I could sit in that stand for hours on end. I'm 6 foot 2 inches and weigh about 210 pounds and had no problems with this stand. I don't know if I needed the extra large platform, but it is still nice. I can't wait to use it next year.
Remember you'll need to carry a small saw to cut limbs as you climb."

The Titan is a TITAN,December 6, 2008
By Yelpin74from Illinois
"Easy to use, durable, comfort, only thing is Summit should go ahead and include footrest, side storage bags, and safety harness pouch for a complete package. That would be a five star product.

summit titan,November 19, 2008
By rlest0426from columbus, ga.
"Great climbing stand. Just like my Viper, but a little wider in the seat and longer on the platform. Noticeably heavier if you will be hiking a long distance, but not bad. Optional shooting rest is a little cumbersome to adjust and makes packing the stand irritating when fastening the shoulder straps. Overall, a highly recommended treestand for hunters wanting more room from a climber"

Great Stand,November 11, 2008
By cstaalfrom WI
"This is a great stand for those big hunters like me. Im 6'2 and about 280 and I feel safe in this stand. Takes some time getting use to. I would practice a few times before using it hunting. Be careful with the strap that attaches to the bottom platform, if you keep those straps tight you can actually break the plastic buckle while climbing. That part may have been in the video that came with the stand. Cabelas was great. They replaced the strap free of charge."

"well this is my first climber. it takes a little bit to get used to that is for sure. I feel safe in it but the two times that i have used it it was raining and windy so the tree was slick. I still managed to climb the tree. now i just need to see that big 10 come in"
