"I purchased the unit to view my pictures and try to avoid removing the camera to do so. The screen is so small that you can't determine good shots very well. I should have read more reviews before I bought it."

"Photo screen could be a little larger to see photos better, especially time and date readings. The on and off button is not very "fool proof", it will easily turn on by itself, thus burning the batteries out. It is very frustrating taking the unit into the camera to view its photos to only find that the photo reader's batteries are dead. This and makes the need to take the batteries out after each use. The closing latch also does not latch well, and the connecting cord could fit better into the unit for storage and closure of the cover. Overall design needs improvement, but better than nothing."

"Just recieved this as a Christmas gift and it only has a TV output, NO USB CONNECTOR. If your camera does not have a TV out you canot view you pictres."

"I HAVE USED THIS VIEWER NOW FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS AND IT IS GREAT TO USE. I LIKE BEING ABLE TO LOOK AT PICTURES AT THE CAMERA. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS IT IS A LITTLE BIT SMALL ON THE PICTURE. IF YOU WEAR GLASSES YOU WILL NEED THEM TO SEE THE DATE AND TIME STAMPED."

"i bought this viewer for my husband. it is very convenient for him to hook up to the camera to view the pictures taken instead of having to go to back and forth to a computer. it's quite small, easy to carry around and easy to use. he uses it with the Moultrie 5.0 Outfitter Camera with infrared flash."

"This viewer is not so good!
I usually have to put new batteries in it EVERY time I go to check my cameras. Even if I view five pics, the next time the batteries are dead. Now I just take them out after use. Not great."

"I bought this with the premise it would be handy in the field and I have found differently. For example, if I am going into the stand I want to get in right away without spending a lot of time at the camera and leaving a lot of scent around. The best way to view images is just to bring in my laptop or review them back at the car. I wish this unit could have had more flexibility in those regards."

"The product is just ok. The picture size in the catalogue is a little deceiving. It's too bad the screen is so small. It makes it hard to see details without the capability of enhancing the image. It's better than nothing, unless of course one has a laptop to carry into the woods."

"I rated this 2 stars for simple, easy to use, price, and idiot proof, but that's it. The latch on the case pops open with the slightest bump. In fact the latch was open when received in the mail. I purchased the Moultrie viewer to work with my Moultrie Game Spy 4.0 I40 camera and it would be nice if you could view pictures without having to open up entire camera to plug the picture viewer into it.
It is a little misleading on the description because yes, it has a compartment for storage of your SD cards but that's it. Just there to help you carry your cards in the woods.
Would probably had rather spent a little more money and purchased a viewer that would except viewing from a SD card directly."

"The device is a screen with an ON/OFF switch and a wire that connect in the trail cam ...That's it..
To view pictures,the viewer must be connected to the trail cam if you want it to work..You can not take your memory card out and insert in the viewer ...This means you can only view your pics from the cam on the tree using the trail cams buttons.. Once your away from your trail cam, impossible to see pictures.. 2 stars cause it does the job and low priced but very restricted options to view.. AS FOR CABELAS SERVICE....ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!"
