A Must,

"These skid plates are a must for any ATV. I wish I had not dragged my feet buy and putting them on. I ride from the marshes of the eastern shore to the mountains of the Blue Ridge, go over down trees in the mud and big rocks on the trails. These plates have held up GREAT!! The only thing that I recomend is instead of using the allen head bolts, take the brackets go to the hardware store and buy regular hex head bolts. After the mud and rocks get to the allen heads it makes them really hard to get off. I also tack welded the brackets in place to make for easy removal and replacing. Stop reading and go buy them."

Great Plates,

"Swapped out the stock plastic guards for this Richochet armor on my '05 Brute Force. It took a good couple of hours as I didn't want to drain all the fluids and set it up on end. They offer excellent protection and don't seem to rattle."

"WE DO ALOT OF SOIL SAMPLING, SO WE HAVE TO RIDE UP AND DOWN CROP ROWS. ANY OTHER SKIDPLATES IE FACTORY DO NOT LAST A FULL FALL. THEN ALL THE STUBBLE CORN OR COTTON RUBS AND GRABS WIRES AND HOSES. WITH THE MENTIONED SKIDPLATES WE CAN GET UNLIMITED USE, WE HAVE NOT WORE OUT A SET YET!!!! I HAVE THREE FOUR WHEELERS AND ALL HAVE THE MENTIONED SKID PLATES."

"The skid plate is well designed. We have rode over rocks stumps and about as much muskeg as u can find in northern alberta. The skid plates have held up well. The only problem is the mounting hardware could use a little refinement the nuts could use a tap and a bit of oil after the nuts are welded onto the mounting hardware and the bolts should be at least 1/4 longer for making mounting eaiser. Other than that the skid plates could probably out last the quad!"

"This product seemed well made and finished enough to compliment it's looks and feel. A sound investment for your ATV and afforable insurance. 08 Grizzly 700 Skid Plates,

"I have purchased other brands in the past, but this is the second set of Ricochet and will not buy anything else. They offer better A Arm protection on the trailing edge than others and the chassis protection is superb. They are very easy to install by using a floor jack and jack stands. They might be easier standing the machine up, but I didn't want to drain the fluids. This is an excellent product."

"Skid plates made of heavy material that holds up well. The biggest problem I had was poor instructions for installation. It will take several hours if you tackle this on your own. Recommend tipping it on end to install. Will save back and time. I was able to install it with it on truck ramps but lacked desirable space to crawl under it to place clamps and screws."

"I bought these as last fall I stuck a beaver cut stump throught my plastic skid. So far I really like these plates. They installed easily and they really give superior protection to the factory offerings. The one thing I noticed is that mud is a little more difficult to remove from the a-arms. Its actually easier from the skid plates themselves as the shiny metal lets you know when they are clean."

"recently put the ricochet skid plates on my Grizzly 700. showed up at the door in 4 days. competitive price. took under 2hrs taking my time to install. everything fit as it should, no binding or rubbing anywhere , looks great and works better on the trail. no sticks taking out cv boots as often. very satisfied. cheers from Vancouver Island B.C"

"These ricochet skid plates are the best. I have had them on three other quads, this order makes for five quads. they fit perfect no modifications, drilling or anything. they come with all applicaple fasteners and the instructions are so simple you really dont need them. they admittedly are a little expensive, but you get much better quality and more aluminum for your money."
