Quality Leather Crossover Holster, January 22, 2009

"Quality leather holster holds 1911 frame and clips securely and comfortably. Only wish they had advised that the leather tie downs come separately and only from Galco (a light weight bungee cord may work better anyway). Great product. I don't give five stars for anything, unless it does the dishes."

"The rig is as advertised and no less. A very good value. I tried another shoulder holster (non leather) and it was a total waste of money. I should have just purchased this Galco holster on the first try. I had a hard time getting the release snap to "reach" over the safety of my 1911. I called Galco and the guy there said to pull on the strap to get it the fit better. He was absolutely right. No two cows shrink the same way I guess. It fits great now. No tie downs are necessary if you have two full magazines in the pouch. This unit is worth every penny."
