the bear brave 2 bow broke in less than a year,November 11, 2009
By mnewell969
"The Brave 2 bow limb broke in less than a year. It was well taken care of but must have had a defect in the limb causing it to brake. The company informed us of the 90 day warranty and was unwilling to stand behind their product for more than the 90 days."

just a toy,September 26, 2009
By WhoReallyCaresfrom Hunting and shooting for 33 years in Michigan
"Very unhappy. I was thinking this was going to be a real bow just smaller. What a joke this is a little kids toy. Guessing it has a #10 pull. The solid fiberglass arrows that come with it won't shoot 10 yards unless you aim at the sun. I ended up giving it to my friend for his granddaughter. Another thing- it's all plastic even the cams!"

Fred Bear Brave Youth Bow Set--Black,September 20, 2009
By Aubiefrom Stuarts Draft, Virginia
"This bow is for a VERY young age. The picture shows a bow which might be for a 10-14 year old. However, once I received it, I realized that the picture was deceiving. It would work well for a 7-10 year old who wants to learn the ART of shooting but the idea of actually using it to hunt is out of the question.
I kept the unit and will give it to a child because the return costs are too high. I was /am displeased with the purchase."

"I recently purchased a youth bow and arrow set for my 11 year old granddaughter's birthday. She was so excited and we are all very pleased with this product. It was definitely enjoyed by all. I never buy online, but needed this as a last minute gift and found your site to be very rewarding. It was shipped and packaged very well. Thanks so very much!"

Best Bow ever!,November 11, 2008
By firetwin2from Covington, Wa
"i got this bow for my son because he got student of the week. We looked for different bows at the Cabelas but my son dessided to choose this one. i worried about the price because now kids change hobbies just about evrey day. i was suprised at the quality of the bow. the arrows wernt the best but really good. but he shoots in the fence evrey couple of times and they havent broken and they shot each about 1 inch into the fence at 15 yards.both of the lost their tip. but it was a easilty fixed just screwing um back on. he one day asked to shoot at out leftover pumpkins and i thought they would just bounced off but they penetraded both sides and still left 7 inches out the other side"

Great Youth Bow!,September 23, 2008
By SouthingtonPrezfrom Southington, CT
"This is a great bow for any beginner! I like the frame and the design is nice. The only thing that I disliked was the fact that it didn't come with any instructions on how to install the scope nor the quiver. Good buy for the price!"

not a bad start,May 26, 2008
By bornhunter
"For the price this bow is hard to beat. It comes with two youth arrows, quiver, sight pin, and a shooting glove. The only thing i didn't like about the bow is the string on it. It is a metal rubber coated cable and you cannot put a peep sight in it. My son is almost seven years old now and loves to shoot with me but he has problems shooting and hitting the target and i believe the greatest part has to do with no peep sight. My son has grown out of this bow in a matter of 6 months. Now i'm in the market to get him a new one and i don't want to get one he can't shoot for another year or two but also don't want him to grow out of this one in a short amount of time. Would i recommend this product to a friend? Yes, but start them around the age of five so you can get some use out of it."
