"I bought these shorts along with a pair of Cabela's 7 pocket 7 inch Hiker shorts (stretch version). There is no comparison. The Cabela's 7 pocker Hiker is far and away more comfortable and easier to move around in. The Rigg's shorts are so long they catch under your kneecaps when squating down. I had to have them re-hemmed up a couple inches. Even now, if the Cabela's 7 inch Hikers are clean and available, I'll climb in those first."

"These shorts are extremely rugged just like the pant version. Stains easily come out of fabric, even grease. Good looks too. You could wear these out on the town if you manage not to get too dirty at work. "Super duty, yet comfortable shorts. Both durable enough and extra deep for heavy items in pockets (CCW, tools, etc.). Reinforced pocket tab over front pocket ideal for clip holder knives. Stitching appears to be superior to most other manufacturers. Although the fabric feels quite heavy, the weight is not felt while wearing and, surprisingly, dries very fast when it gets wet. Now I must find a vest made this well."
