"I have worn these boots for about a month now and love them. They stay fairly comfortable in the heat and humidity and are great the rest of the time. They are the most comfortable boot I've worn. They seem to be water repellent not water proof and don't track mud in the house. These boots are lightweight and fit like sneakers."

"I recently bought a pair because I just went to South Dakota to shoot prairie dogs and my only other hunting boots are a pair of insulated irish setters and are not the best in 80+ degree weather. I was amazed at how comfortable they were to walk in and easy to get on. while hunting I walked mile after mile up and down steep hills, over rocks and sage. Never once did my feet get sore or tired, I really didnt even notice my feet and never worried about my footing not being sure. These are a MUST if you do any hunting or hiking in warm to hot weather. You wont reget it, You could sleep in these boots!"

"I bought this boot because I was looking for a lightweight durable boot for work. These boots were very comfortable and even working 12 hrs a day my feet did not hurt. I was even more impressed with these boots after the recent rain storms. Walking around all day in ankle deep water and muck, my feet never got wet. After work, I would wash the mud off with the garden hose, take them off, let them dry, and they would be ready to go the next morning."

"Very Nice Boots! I love them and will buy them again! Yes the laces could have the wrap around eyelets for easier lacing but then I don't think they would be as comfortable. If you unlace just the top eyelet you can get into them no problem. No break in and support is awesome. I work fo rthe railroad and walk on uneven rocky inclines all the time and these boots support very well. They look so nice I just hate to get them dirty! I recommend these boots to everyone!"

"If these boots were $45.00 I would say I got my moneys worth. But they were much more than that. I found them so difficult to lace and unlace that I wore them just once and put them back in the box. Another fine investment on my part. The speed lace eyelets that most boots have would of made all the difference."

"I work in the Blasting industry. As a blaster I need a tough and rugid boot. My footware is subjected to the roughest terrain and conditions. I'm treading on sharp, jagged, and dusty rock all day. I spent a few extra bucks and tried the Danner boots. I'm glad I did. First thing is, they're incredibly comfortable to my feet. The inside has a base and cushion support which relaxes the tension my feet go through. The bottom tread of the boot is a bit thicker than other workboots. (I think they'll last much longer) The shoelace hardware configuration allows for creating a good seal, which keeps even fine sand from getting inside. And the Desert boots have a great color. Much better suited to rock and sand conditions. They won't discolor as quick as the typical browner workboots. When these finally wear out, I know I'll be going back to get another pair of Danner's best boots."

"I bought these books before my trip to Africa to bowhunt plains game. I was worried that I got them too close to my leaving and that they wouldn't be broken in before I left. Boy was I wrong! They fit and felt great from the first time I put them on. The first thing I did was to fill up the bathtub and stood in it. My feet stayed perfectly dry. These boots are very comfortable and you can wear them all day. The flexibility of the soles make them great for stalking, and I belive that they were part of the reason that I was able to stalk up to within 10 yards on a Red Hartebeest that would score in the top 10 on the SCI rating. If you want a good non-insulated boot that will still keep your feet warm (yes, it does get cold in Africa-Sout Africa anyway) these are th boots for you. Longbow Bob"
