"The magazines are identical to those shipped by the factory with the pistol. They perform in every way exactly the same. After many speed and tactical magazine changes, I can't discern the original magazines form the one's I purchased at Cabela's."

"This is a sturdy, and well made magazine. As expected, it fits my XD 9mm perfectly. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star is the bright highly reflective finish. A little satin would be a good thing."

"Good solid mags. . . the exact same ones that came with my pistol. same manufacturer. no cheap ripoffs that just happen to fit here. For the record, I have an XD .40 5" tactical. . bought the 12 rd mags."

Worth the Money,

"You might be able to save $5 or so on "aftermarket" mags. Probably won't seem like a big deal when they don't function properly. In my experience, this usually happens at the most in-opportune times. I've tried several brands, and either the spring tension is wrong, the release cut is wrong, the base plate doesn't re-attach correctly, and/or the follower eats itself. Bottom line- they are not dependable and are only usefull as range mags to practice clearance drills with.
The Springfield mags are very high quality, built to last, and most importantly-function every time. They are a tremendous value, worth more than they cost, and are the ONLY mags I'll run from now on in my XD."
