"I take this bag to work every day, and recently went to a seminar where many people had expensive leather designer totes or bags. I had my bag stuffed with a laptop, my lunch and conference notebooks. A couple of folks noticed my bag and did not believe I got it from Cabela's, until I showed them the side with the logo. It looks great, is really durable, and the design features are really convenient. It does not weigh a lot so you can really load it up and not worry about pulling your back or shoulder. Make some more colors!!"

Bought for a gift and came back for another for me,December 20, 2008

"I had one similar to this and my mom liked it so when I saw this online, I bought one for a gift for her. When it was delivered, I immediately bought another for me. The one I had originally was about half the size of this one. This bag actually holds my laptop (in a sleeve) and several files I drag back & forth to the office. It's huge! Lots of pockets to keep me organized. I also plan to use it as my carry on when we fly and it's big enough to use as an overnight bag too.
I've been fairly "abusive" in the month or so that I've been using this bag and it still looks good. It gets stuffed full, crammed into my desk drawer and sat on in the car.
My only criticisms are that the hardware on the handles is plastic. Metal would probably look much better. I also wish it didn't have "Cabela's" embroidered up the side, but hey...for the price, I'd recommend it to a friend for sure."

"Okay so I don't normally submit reviews but felt the need to on this bag. I read all the previous reviews and thought I'd give it a try anyways. I have owned 3 of the mini totes and loved them. I bought one and loved it so much that I got 2 more. I saw this bag and thought that it would be just like the mini tote, only bigger! Here are the problems:
1) the stiching along the seems, ALL of them, ( though especially at the handles) look as if they would come apart after 1 use
2) super cute outside (I got the pink with dots) but the bag does not hold its shape like the mini tote, I put one book inside and the book dropped to the bottom with the bottom sagging as I put it on my shoulder. The mini tote holds its shape no matter how loaded it is.
Thanks for trying to make a jumbo version of the mini tote, but back to the drawing board!"

"I have had this bag approximately 3 weeks. I have carried it approximately 7 times to work. The black bungee on the front is starting to come off. The gromets for the holes have pulled out. The handles where stitched on are starting to fray. The stitching for the velcro on the side pockets has begun to pull out. The bag is a terrific design, but it has some manufacturing flaws. I may be returning mine very soon. I was hoping to take it on vacation next week, but I am afraid one week of constant use would cause it to fall apart!!"

"Went shopping with my husband and son and came across this "FIND"! As an illustrator, it is the perfect bag for supplies, sketchbooks, pens/paint etc. You would pay much more for something smaller and not as well made. Even the cashier was impressed when I told her my plan for it. Truly LOVED my shopping experience and very glad I tagged along with "the guys"!"

"This is a wonderful bag, tons of pockets including a zipper pocket inside. Can be hung over luggage handle or umbrella stoller with the pocket on the back that opens at both ends. I have the pink bag and I use it as a diaper bag for my little girl and it works great. I tend to overpack when we are away from the house and I have ample room in this bag. I have recommended to all my friends, great gift as well."

"I purchased the original version of this bag last year and am now using it for a diaper bag. Holds everything I need, so I don't need to pack multiple bags for certain things. Only improvement I would suggest for this bag is a shoulder strap so it could hang off a stroller."
