"I bought this for my daughter and it is a great system. I think it is an excellent value for the money. We live in Seattle so having the flexibility of the shell, down jacket/vest, complete system is great. The jacket has nice details on it such as goggle/sunglass pockets, cell phone/MP3 pockets as well. My only complaint is that the down jacket/vest color is white. It looks nice, but my daughter and wife are both concerned about getting it dirty."

"I am a Columbia brand person for coats and have been for 22 years. This jacket proves even warmer, more moveable and useable across the seasons. I bought it for my 6year old daughter who loves it and has been able to play outside in the cold for longer periods of time AND stay dry! "My 8 year old loves this coat. She has only had it for 3 weeks but we have taken advanatage of the vest option as well as the full 4 piece coat for Cold (20 below) winter days. She is able to zip the sleeves on and off herself, and sometimes wears just the vest on days when wanting a little extra warmth inside cool areas of the school. Quality is great from the tightness of the seams to the detailing of the zippers, pockets, and the inside hooks for keeping the pieces together. The very outer layer is not fleece lined, but it is nicely lined with a tightly woven fabric so it will make a great Spring Coat. We are looking forward to our next ski trip and know that we only have to bring one coat - because it is really 4!"

"This coat is wonderful. My daughter loves it. She has worn it on cold rainy days all done up. She has unzipped the lining and used it as a lighter weight long sleeve jacket. She has used the coat shell on windy but warmer days. And last but not least she has unzipped the long sleeves from the inner lining and wore as a vest. This was like buying four wonderful pieces of clothing, for one price...."

"This coat fits beautifully and is very warm and versatile for our seven year old daughter. Our only complaint is that the zipper is very difficult to get started. Our daughter, who has been zipping her own coat since she was three years old, gets very frustrated that she has to have help each time she needs to zip up. We usually have to try two or three times ourselves before we succeed in getting the zipper started."

It has a nice, removable polyfil liner that is much more comfortable and warmer than the typical thin fleece liners in most coats.
