"Very fish freindly bait, yea... they love em! rigged W/ a weighted 6 o hook is a nice fit. try making a slit in the bottom of the bait were the hook lays, creates better hook sets. FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!"

"You need to purchase the proper terminal tackle or the bait will spin in the water. The weight on the hook needs to be at the apex of the hook or it will spin. Otherwise, the bait is great as the entire swim bait moves with life like action."

"Wow, great action. I bought the 5" bait. I would recommend that you use at least a 6/0 or 7/0 hook, for the 5". I was only able to use the bait for a couple of hours after I filled my limit in a tounament. I was searching for a kicker fish and did have a large fish strike the bait without a hook-up. I was using a 5/0 1/8 oz. hook throwing around the docks. The larger hook size will definitely help for hook-ups."

"I ordered the smallest size available 4.5 inch, the quality and detail was excellent for a mass produced plastic. I rigged it with a 4/0 1/8oz. weighted hook texposed. I was dissapointed in the action, a very exagerated head roll when retrieved and a the tail did'nt move on the drop. This probably could be fixed using a heavier weighted hook. But the trade off is a much faster fall rate than I wanted, in which case a standard rigged plastic swimbait would have been a better choice. I have used the Lucky-E-Shad in a 3.5 inch with much better results. I think if Strike King offered a smaller size it would be comparble."

"I have used these baits on several trips to local lakes around Colorado Springs. I have caught some very nice largemouth, spotted and smallmouth bass on them. During one of my trips to Pueblo Reservior I caught several wipers on them. The heads do tear easily and it only takes a couple of fish to tear one up. I wish that I would have ordered more the first time that I saw them because most of my second order has gone on back order. I have recommended these baits to several of my family and friends."

"I purchased this soft body swimbait to fish mostly around docks and bluegill beds. I tried the swimbait with out a keel weighted hook and found the bait hard to keep upright, however once fished on the proper hook, the bait is unbelievable and realistic. The hot new Sexy Shad color is also highly recommended. I am anxious to try this swimbait in a slow crawling, deep pattern for big smallies."

"Good action slow rolling with 6/0 or bigger weighted hook. Thinking "spinnerbait" when fishing, not "Fluke/Slug-O" works better for me. Throw on heavier line in spring if stripers are in your lake."
