"I bought this sleeping bag for a hunt I went on in Idaho.
The coldest it got at night was 20 degrees and I froze in this bag.
I tried sleeping with clothes on and with clothes off. I still froze.
It should be listed as a 40 degree bag."

"The two sleeping bags join by the zipper and because they are the larger size we slept with the room of a queen size bed. We used it in a tent and the out door temperature reached about 40F degrees. It was perfect!"

"This bag is just fine in cold weather IF you don't bundle yourself up in too many layers of clothing. Keep it skin to bag and you'll stay nice and warm.
I know, I've checked them out in 10 degree temps."

Temp ratings confusion,

"I bought this bag in Nov 08 because of the Coleman brand and the -5F rating. But first time in the field I got cold. Then I saw in the Limited Spring 2009 catalog that the temp rating had been changed to +20F which is closer to the truth. Now I'm seeing the temp rating is again at -5F. This is not a five-below bag and it's priced too high for a +20F bag. The temp rating needs to be established so people know what they're buying."

"I used this bag in Geogia this past fall in temps from 26 to 50 and comfortable all the time In addition I placed a US military Pancho and liner on My 2" sponge mattress This January 20th through 23 on a winter hunt and primitive camp near Meade ,Ks the temps were 11 to 23 and I was comfortable this time as well same pancho and liner and 2" mattress on a canvas cot plenty of room to put your clothes on in you bag ."

DO NOT BUY Coleman Legacy Series sleeping bag!!,

"My husband and I were looking forward to using these new sleeping bags for October camping in PA. We zipped them together so there were 2 of us in the bags--it was above freezing (high 30s), we were in a tent on top of thermarest blow up mats, we were fully clothed with socks on and jackets and we were COLD!!! How could these bags be rated -5 degrees?! Thank goodness Cabelas took them back!"

"I purchased this for a high country spike camp Elk hunt in Idaho. The perfect bag for this situation. Not too heavy and affordable.
Would have liked to have had a waterproof cover for it included.
Still a good deal though."

"What a great bag. The first time I used it we went out and it was about 10 degrees out. I stayed warm and toasty all night long, and at one point was actually to warm in it."
