"I really don't understand the 5 start reviews with these. I do not typically right reviews but I don't want another customer upset with such a fine company as Cabelas. They should have made sure these items were built to the standards I know Cabelas is capable of. What a shame such a good design is built so cheap. They look great but you cannot deal with the poor quality. The main issue is when they are placed on wall the backplate is so weak that the light leans toward house from the weight of it. They are not level."

"These lamps are a great addition to our new room and bath addition. We have added a bedroom to our mountain cabin to which we hope to retire one day. We will be moving from a beach community where our home has been filled with seashells and beachy decor. We wanted to bring the two worlds together combining our rustic cabin look and coastal art work. We bought three lamps; two for either side of our bathroom vanity and one for the hallway, between the old cabin and the new room. We have chosen oil-rubbed bronze fixtures for the bathroom and the fisherman lamps are very complimentary."

"The line of products is very nice looking and fits well with our remodeling design requirements. However, the lack of quality control criteria used during the bending of the lamp wiring bar that leads from the base to the lamp makes it inconsistent in length and therefore difficult to use in close proximity to another sconce."

"The wall sconces were exactly like old fishing lights on docks that I used to fish on. They look very nice in my front room and are a great accent around my fireplace. Overall, I thought they were what I was expecting. They are plain but decorative."

"This is a great little light, perfect for setting up by your front door. My only recommendation is that longer brass nipple be provided to make it easier to attach to the wall. Otherwise, a very good light, giving plenty of illumination."

"These sconces are the finishing touch on my cabin reno. The quality is excellent and were a breeze to install. Also got the Fishermans Ceiling fixture. They really add to the rustic feel I'm trying to capture with the renovation. I especially like the flawed glass lenses, really adds to the rustic feel. I would definately order these again. I will probably order the Table Lanterns is the Antique finish later this year. Delivery was prompt also. Great product."

"I bought two of these for my second home in the Sierra. They are wonderful in my hallway; and make me feel like I'm at one of the Grand Lodges. It was very easy to install; it took me less than 1/2 hour per light to change out the fixture. As an added touch, I used the Summer yellow Bug Lights to enhance the feel these lights bring to a room. I love them!"
