Good for light or emergency use,August 25, 2009
By JimmmyDfrom Bridgewater, VA
"Used this hammock in the jungles of Guyana for a week. It held up reasonably well, but would not have lasted much longer. I needed something extremely small and lightweight, which this is, but the weight carrying portion is a bit too fragile for actual camping use. I would highly recommend it for recreational use or as a backup, but not anything more demanding."

travel hammock,August 10, 2009
By aguyindelawarefrom seaford, de
"light weight and strong. ingenious rope mechanisms makes it easy to hang. one caveat; the loops that are sewn into the mosquito mesh to suspend it are continuous, so if you want to quickly bring down your hammock, ie: approaching storm, you have to untie the suspension lines from whatever the hammock is tied to. it would be better if the loops had velcro or something that you could easily pull apart. i ended up cutting mine and using safety pins to secure them over the suspension lines. it makes hanging and unhanging much quicker because i can leave the mesh suspension lines tied to my trees."

think I got a defect,June 16, 2009
By HammockinBelizefrom Shreveport, LA
"Like the hammock. Looks to be well made, but It tore along the seam (where the netting connects to the canvas) the first time I got in it. I'm not a large guy (190lbls) but it ripped about 9 inches along the seem. I had to sleep in it two more nights and fortunately, it didn't tear any further.
I think its a good product, I just happen to get a bad one."

Welcome gift,February 20, 2009
By slgJaxfrom NE FL
"My two 17 year-old boys received the hammocks for Christmas. Since then they have camped in the nearby woods. they both report being very comfortable, and grateful for the mosquito netting. We grow some mighty mosquitos here in NE FL. They both reported the product to be "great"!"
