"I wouldn't buy the Big Horn III without the vestibule, it is a great addition to the tent and has good storage capacity. We used the tent and the vestibule on a moose hunt in northern BC in late October and encountered a variety of nasty weather and were very pleased that we purchased the vestibule.
Sadly, being two males who are both 60 years old, we didn't discover the assembly instructions in the stuff sack until we took down the tent for the second time. The instructions would have saved us a lot of assembly frustrations.
The vestibule does not shed snow like the tent does and I think that it would do a better job of that if there were guy line attachments in the vacinity of the side windows/vents.
Overall, a very good product."

"This is a great add on. It gives you a place to take off muddy and wet stuff without draging the mess into the tent. Keep your firewood out of the weather without taking up room in the tent. Heck on the first time using my wife set her portapot in the vestibule and we still had plenty of room for the rest of the gear that we stored in it. It is actually big enough that i think i could park my 4wheeler in and still have room to get in and out of the tent okay. I would definatly recommend buying the vestibule to add to your big horn tent if just to give you a way of in and out of the tent in foul weather."

"If you have the Big Horn tent this is a must have. If I am camping by myself I only take my Big Horn tent but for when you have 2-5 people with you its a must have. It adds so much room for gear, kitchen, a place to get out of the weather.
By myself I can have my Big Horn tent set up in 15 mins. And anouther 10 to set up this Vestibule. And 5 or so to go around to adjust the tent stakes if need be.
It holds up to the wind and rain great and has a great seal to the tent and get no air drafts or rain into it. The two large windows give great side ventilation to help remove moisture from cooking and wet clothes."

"The vestibule adds a great deal of utility to the Big Horn tent. We owned the tent for a couple of years before we purchased the vestibule. The tent itself is great, but the vestibule provides a place to store some of your stuff, a place to eat for about three people, and even light cooking. It helps a great deal in preventing dirt, debris, and whatnot from being tracked in to your sleeping quarters. We used this in October on a muzzle loader deer hunt in New Mexico - we ate in the vestibule to keep our sleeping quarters clean it worked great. The first time to erect the vestibule is a challenge, but the directions are permanently attached to the inside of the storage bag, just like the Big Horn tent. Just follow the instructions and you'll be in business. Highly recommend."

"I just got back from the CO Rockies from my Elk Hunting trip. I camped at 10,000' in the Big Horn tent. It was great. It weathered a pretty windy snow storm. The vestibule was bomb proof. Highly recomended."

"Any vestibules for tents are simply the cat's meow. Easy to set up and are invaluable for protecting items you simply cannot put inside the tent. Plus they allow you the extra space not afforded in the tent but easy access to bring in and out of the main tent as needed. They mate up quickly and easily and are a godsend. Not enough good can be said about them."

"The vestibule gave the tent lots of extra room to store gear. The only thing I had trouble with was squaring it to the tent to everything stayed snug. It fit great and was easy to setup and take down. Need to take a tarp with you to cover the ground so you do not trip over the strap that keeps the vestibule legs from spreading out and to help keep dirt out of the tent."

"We recently purchased a Big Horn II tent to go elk hunting in Colorado. When we were looking at tent accessories, we questioned whether or not the vestibule would be worth getting. Prior to purchasing, we had only seen photos and had not actually seen the vestibule set up. However, after spending 5 days camping in rainy/snowy weather, we were extremely glad we purchased the vestibule. The vestibule was the perfect place to come in out of the weather and store boots, guns etc... prior to entering the tent. It was well worth the money. The other group camping with us had the same tent, but regretted not getting the vestibule. They will be purchasing the vestibule before the next hunt.
