"This product worked very well on my 14' V-hull boat. No more struggling with fitting the tarp on with bungees through grommets and then having it leak anyways. "A very good boat cover, has a good fit and planty of tie down straps to get a nice tight fit. I use it with 5 of the adjustable support poles,( it comes with one) and the cover makes a nice little tent over the boat and water/debris just run off."

One star-Faulty snap fastener and shrunk,May 21, 2009

"This is the only product I have purchased from Cabelas that was a real flop, in more ways than one. I took this on my annual Paddlefish fishing trip, about 400 miles round trip. Initially the cover fit well and rather than stretch a little from the wind, it actually shrunk enough that it didn't quite cover my boat. Yes it got rained on, once. My biggest complaint was that one of the female snap fasteners broke where it connects to the sewn on loop. So in order to replace it, the loop which is sewn to the cover would have to be cut and resewn with a new female snap. I called customer service and will return this cover and upgrade to the next more expensive cover with the hopes that it will perform better. .... Kudos to Cabelas customer service for their smooth handling of this problem."

"I PURCHASED THIS COVER FOR A 14 FOOT V BOTTOM. I DO NOT TOW USING A COVER SO I CANNOT RATE THIS AREA. I DO HOWEVER USE THE COVER DAILY, EASY TO PUT ON, LIKE THE ELASTIC FIT AROUND THE GUNNEL, QUICK SNAPS ON THE STRAPS ARE A NICE PLUS. FITS PERFECT FROM THE BOW,COVERING THE TROLLING MOTOR, OVER THE FRONT PEDESTAL TO THE STERN AND COVERS NICE AND TIGHT INCLUDING THE OUTBOARD MOTOR. SEEMS TO HANDLE THE WIND AND RAIN NICELY. THE 300 DENIER IS A WEIGHT I COULD NOT FIND IN ANY LOCAL STORE IN AN A SIZE, AND I'M GLAD I DID NOT AS CABELAS PRICE COULD NOT BE BEAT FOR THE QUALITY OF COVER."

"I have to say after purchasing different brands of universal covers this one is the best by far. It fits real well and holds up going down the road, only thing that I have found is, it will slightly balloon right behind the seats on the back fishing deck, but only a little. First time I pulled my boat with it on, it was through a rain storm and it kept my boat nice and dry. I would recommend this cover highly. Great product."

"The only reason I didn't give a 5 star, is that I have not towed it to a lake yet, therefore I don't know how the cover will hold during towing. I went up one size, this way it also covered my motor as well. We just had hard rains and high winds here in Southern Cal, and the top did a great job, with winds up to 45 mile's the cover stayed snug.

"The cover itself is fine. The support pole that comes with it is not. The new cover was necessary because the last cover I had ripped. The same support pole melted in our Colorado sun. I was unaware of this as the boat was in storage. When it rained the cover ripped because of the load. Additional support is needed. A support pole of better material and slightly larger would be of help."
