Cabela's 12' Jon Boat Cover,

"I was extremely satisfied with this cover.I have automatic anchor locks protruding slightly from the front and rear of the boat and it covered them and the rest of the boat very well.The motor cut out allows me to leave my old 4 HP Johnson motor attached and still have good coverage on the boat.It is well made of good material.All fastening straps and a storage bag of the same material is included.The fastening straps are way too long but that can be remedied.I haven't tried trailering with it on yet,but it rained last night and it stayed dry inside.I just got it, so time will tell how durable it is.At this price,it wouldn't have to be but a couple of years to be worth it."

"I am very impressed with this cover. This is a nice heavy duty cover without being cumbersome. It fits nicely on my boat and the straps make securing the cover easy work. I would highly recommend this boat cover. Shortly after I bought this cover we had torrential rains and it did a great job protecting the boat. A puddle did form in one location but the water did not leak through. Another fine product from Cabelas."

12 foot Jon boat cover and support pole,

"I have no problem with the quality of the cover or the support pole - - two issues should be addressed; 1) the stretchability of the cords used to hold the cover below the gunwales is too great - - a better more secure method would be the use of a strap such as used on the sides (I am not concerned with tailoring, just with keeping rain water outside the boat); 2) the cover is a bit on the short side allowing rain to enter through the motor/engine cutout which is understandable. What I really needed was a total boat cover as I never leave the motor/engine exposed to the elements.
All said, it is probably the best available in the marketplace and I would recommend it.
The support pole is fine - - I should have gotten two!"

"well made, easy to install. problem is it still will catch and pool water unless you build it up so water runs off---not so easy to do. needs bows to be totally effective"

"Love the cover. Excellent quality and fit. Takes a few minutes to put on by yourself but totally worth the effort. Not sure about durability, or how well it does trailering cause I have not done it, but I think it will do well by the looks of it. I bought mine for on my Tracker 1436 and it fits good. Will work for much wider boats, and also the smaller 32s cause you can fold in the extra and cinch it down. This cover does not go over your motors so know that you will need to get an outboard cover. I believe it tells you that in the description but if not now you know. As long as it holds up a couple of years I would definately buy again, and also recommend to anyone looking for a good quality cover for a fair price."

"I'm very happy with it. This cover has already been through many downpours. Although it took me a few tries to figure out how to keep it from filling with water, it still kept the water out of the boat.
It wasn't easy for me to decide to put my boat outside but this cover has helped ease my concerns. Now I have more space to work with in the garage.
The down side:
A lot of straps to put on and adjust. Once adjusted I learned to keep one side attached to the cover otherwise you will be readjusting everytime you us the boat."

"I needed a cover for my 165 pf g3, would not spend the high amount for a factory cover so I purchased one of these I figured being my boat was 16 1/2 ft I would order the 18 ft being I have a bow mount trolling motor and most say if you have this order 1 ft bigger,but it was still about 2 ft to long so I reordered a 16 ft cover and it was a great fit and looks great. I would recommend for any boat my style or even the bass trackers...excellent fit and seems very strong!"

"Purchased the Jon boat cover right before a 4 day rain. The cover worked perfect on my 15 foot Jon Boat. The cover has plenty of straps. To keep the rain draining properly I put some 2ft. legs on a 10ft 2X4 and strung it between the front and back seat. Then I tightened all the straps."

"Very much what you see in the description. 300 denier fabric and repels rain wonderfully. I had a couple of indentations(flat areas where the water pooled) in my covering and when I opened the cover I expected my boat to be fully wet... it wasn't in the least. There was a pool of water ontop of the indentation and the floor was only mildly wet. Keep all of the 'valley's' out and it is a spectacular cover for the money. My boat is in the open weather and I have a wood floor, very pleased. Don't regret the purchase at all."

"This cover fits my Lowe 1448MT very well, and allows the seats to be left in with plenty of cover down the side. It secures solid when trailing. Goes down the highway with minimal flapping. Great cover for the money."
