Flush Mount for Rod Holder,September 22, 2009

"Fish On changed removed the cap from the mount. This makes it difficult to retain water tight integrety for the area under the mount. The directions also called for a 1.25 inch hole to be drilled for installation. The hole size needed was in fact 1/8 of an inch larger. It made installation very hard for the first mount.
I have used Fish On Rod Holders for 20 plus years. But these are my last ones."

"I actually mounted them on my kayak and they work perfect. The stopper on the top prevents water from coming in when not in use. They work great for holding the rods and now I am making other adapters for it such as a cup holder."

"I bought 2 of these rod holders and I am very impressed. They are solid, well built, and easy to use and adjust. I have owned Scotty and other brands and these are the best. I have had thetightning screw strip out on the other brands but these are easy to adjust just by pushing the knob either forwards or backwards. The rod locks are also easy to use and open or close quickly. If you want easy to use and well built pole holders thaen purchase these."
