Seaworthy Shipmate 37 CD Stereo System

Outfit your craft with a reliable, full-featured stereo outfit from Shipmate. Included with the system is a 72"-corded mini plug suitable for an MP3 player, laptop computer, VHF or satellite radio. The 160-watt (4x40) receiver features a clock, large display, 18 FM and six AM presets available as well as automatic preset scanning. RCA outputs hook up the two 6-1/2" round, 75-watts-per-channel speakers. They use 6-oz. magnetic bicones for optimum sound quality. A 17-5/8" single pole antenna brings in radio stations clearly and consistently. Receiver installation size: 2"H x 7"W x 6-3/16"D. Speaker installation size: 5-1/4"H x 5-1/4"W x 2-3/8"D.

"Also bought the weatherproof enclosure from SeaWorthy; the two do not fit well together. The front trim ring kept popping off because of too much pressure. I thought there would be an advantage buying both of the same brand, but apparently not.
When it came time to power up the radio, it did not work; so sent the thing back and got a different brand. In addition, the instructions are almost useless; does not cover mounting very well, nothing on face plate removal; two different (+) power wires with no explanation on which one to use.
I expected black speakers and got white.
This does not fit Cabela's normally high standards."

"The mounting front flanges are to small and fit poorly,one side lose. Also the description in the catalog lets you believe that it comes with a standup antenna. Mine came with only a short cable with a thin flexible wire"
