"The Cabella's Premium Grade Marine Carpet was easy to install - it is light weight yet apparently sturdy. The light teal color is even and looks great on the pontoon boat deck. It was noted that the carpet seems to hold impressions of furniture and cover poles after they are stowed. Only further experience will allow a determination of the fiber's ability to fully recover its nap (if it does, a fifth star may be added!)."

"I was disappointed in rolling out the carpet. There were places where the carpet had already released from the backing. I had to cut around some bad spots to be able to lay it properly. Fortunuately I ordered more than I needed. I was going to replace the material in the rod lockers, but didn't have enough after working around the bad spots. I hope the carpet stays down ok after the glue sits up right."

"I wasn't quite sure i wanted to buy this carpet based on the reviews i read. i have to say that it was very easy to work with and seems to be a decent carpet. the only complaint i have is that the backing is fairly thin and you can slightly see the back when wrapping a corner. i bought it because i couldnt find the color i wanted in any other grade of carpet. my father in law has the same carpet and its been in his boat for 10yrs with no problems. i think if you take care of it, it should last a while. This was installed on a 14" bass boat. if i was going to carpet a really nice boat i would move up in quality but for a bass boat this carpet is great."

"I recarpeted a bass boat a few years ago with the delux carpet. I recently recarpeted another bass boat with the premium carpet. The only reason I bought the premium was that the delux didn't come in the color I was looking for. The delux carpet was a much better carpet in my mind.....thicker, better backing, and you can't see the backing when going around a tight corner. The premium is a good carpet, but if they have the color you're looking for in the delux, don't waste the extra money."
