Nikon Monarch ATB Binoculars,November 22, 2009
By procuttlawncarefrom western NC
"I lost my first pair (8x42) during the recovery of a bear I shot LAST year. Luckily, after 10 months laying in the woods I found them and with the exception of some chew marks they work just as good as the day I bought them. I can't say enough good things about them. Crystal clear, bright, and durable. I had just as soon forget just about anything as my binoculars."
"Excellent product for big game spotting, whale watching and general viewing with clear bright image, even with very little natural light."

Great Bino's,November 19, 2009
By Hunter907from Near Dot Lake, Alaska
"After a lot of research and looking through dozens of types and brands we cannot be happier with these binoculars. The price is really good as well,to find another pair of binoculars that are this good we found that you would need to spend around $1200.00. We can use that money on other gear . We own two pairs of these and would highly recommend them. They are easy to use and rugged,we have used them on caribou, moose, dall sheep, blacktail deer, and grizzly hunts in all kinds of weather and circumstances wlth no problems."

first full size pair of Bino's,November 18, 2009
By bigskyhuntingfrom Billings, MT
"Before I bought the Nikon in 12x42 I had always used compact binos. The difference was great as I expected, but when I compared the Nikon to a pair of bushnells in the field, 10x42, the difference was night and day. The Nikon pair is clearer, gathers more light and has a better view due to the adjustable eyecups. I would highly recommend these to anyone!"

Monarch 10x42 binocs,November 18, 2009
By Esoxanglerfrom Madison
"These binocs gather light up better than my Steiner 10x50 Military Marine in very low light conditions. The clarity is just as good. 2 of my friends that tried both pair side by side have bought a pair of the Monarcs. The monarcs are half the size too. The only thing I like better about the Steiners is the auto focus feature, other than that the Monarcs, for several hundred dollars less, are a much better unit."

Great Value,November 1, 2009
By ChrisInCalifrom Zone X9B, CA
"Sure, Cabela's Eurod and Swarovski's had a slightly sharper image at the very edge of the field of view, and they probably give you a few more minutes of glassing time at dusk/dawn, but do ya really want to spend all that extra money for such marginal return? I sure would hate to lose or damage a pair of $1,000+ binos, but with the Nikons (a) they have a great warranty and (b) I can afford to replace them several times over vs. the price of the Swarovski's."

Nikon quality,October 26, 2009
By badlandsone
"I purchased the nikon monarchs after using many other simular priced and some much higher in price, i felt that the glass was excellent, very clear and bright in low light conditions. I was however a little disappointed in the quality of the body, parts were falling off after very little use and the exterior started to show excessive wear with minimal use."

Nikon Monarch ATB 10X42,October 26, 2009
By WTHUNTER78from MS
"These binoculars perform very well in all light conditions, and the image quality is very good. The ocular covers take a little time to get used to, but they do their job. The size and weight of these binoculars make them handy to use as they are not very cumbersome. There was also little eye strain when using these binoculars. I used them on an elk hunt with a friend, and I was pleased with the overall performance."

Great binoculars for the price,October 26, 2009
By 2009DJfrom Raleigh, NC
"If your looking for good quality binoculars at a good price these are the ones for you. Used them on a hunting trip to Wyoming and they worked like a charm. Never fogged up, good clear image even in low light conditions. Fairly tough, stood up to being dropped a few times. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality set of binoculars."

good glass,October 23, 2009
By madmuleyfrom utah
"I have owned and used this model in the 10x42 for over a year now. Great glass, clear and have never fogged. Good in low light as well. My biggest complaint is that the objective lens covers do not stay on. Get a good bino hide and you'll be fine. These are also very lightweight for their size. Plus with the Nikon "no fault policy" that comes with these binoculars, there is no reason to leave these behind when the trail gets rough or the weather turns wild. Heck I don't even get mad when I see the kids playing with them, remember, no fault policy!"

Nikon Monarch 8X42,October 22, 2009
By AJMinnesotafrom Northern MN
"Only used them for about two months and have been very satisfied so far. They are very clear and bring in good light late in the evening. I got the 8X42's rather than the 10X50's for the late evening by a recommendation from Cabela's outfitter. Some late evenings I can't see across the field because the dark and can still bring in deer with these fairly late. I like that the eye caps are connected so you don't lose them. I have taken them along when bow hunting and they aren't bulky. It would be nice if the strap could be adjusted to be a little longer in order to put it around your neck and under one arm, but thats minor. The rebate helped on the price too. Very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone."
