"I made two bowfishing setup's this year. One for my son and one for myself. My son's used a old zebco attached to the front of his bow, I picked up one of these. While my son's rig was much cheaper, I firmly believe mine is funner, faster and easier to run. It's much faster to reset after a miss. No worrying about weather you've "clicked" the button on the zebco reel. Add the two of those together and you have a funner set up."

"I have had a standard drum, string and fiberglass arrow bowfishing set up for years. I have used it on and off for some time thinking; that was it, there are no more innovations in bowfishing and my interest in this exciting extreme sport was set aside. After reading some of the recent activity in the Truckee River with Carp, I decided to get the ol thing out, and much to my dismay, the string and the arrow just were not up to snuff. I purchased this new AMS set up knowing it is a bit pricy but also knowing my quarry would average about 15-20 pounds in a moving river. The innovation and simplicity of this is outstanding. I tested in on my BLOCK and not only does the string avoid all the action due to the slide on arrow design, but there is just enough slag (very very little if any) in the string to avoid needing fletching to keep it strait. Further, I have heard that without the fletch, the arrow penetrates further in water. The mechanical tips should do the trick. When I hit my first carp, will take the time to update this. There just is NO OTHER PRODUCT LIKE THIS. Congratulations to AMS for a fine product. Dont stop working innovation guys! This is fantastic for off season archers to have exciting extreme fun."

"i had the old style reel and upgraded to the pro, it is very good. it has all the things i wish my other reel had. like a string holder, a quiver, and a larger hole to drain the water out of the bottle. i highly recomend this to anyone"
