Portable,August 21, 2008

"I bought this Black Light to use as an extra light to accompany the 2 larger black lights I generally use. This way I could position it around the boat according to how many anglers were on board and/or on the side opposite the main Black lights (work both sides at will.) I liked the idea of being able to recharge the battery or use it with the 12 volt plug. I did find that it did not cast the light out at more that 10 feet or so from the boat, which limited line visibility. Having said that, the product works as intended, recharges quickly, and is quite portable. I can see the useful appication of this light for dock/shore fish where a greater distance of illumination is not neccessary. The only reason I did not rate it at a 4 is that I am old school and I spend Hundreds upon Hundreds of hours every year night fishing and I am a line watcher, hence the distance of illumination issue."

optronics black light,August 4, 2008

"I have used it several times and for the money it's not a bad light. It could be a lot brighter, you have to angle it up to really be able to see your line, the white and red lights on the back side are very helpful to tie on baits. If you were just getting started night fishing this would be a good starter light."

Good product,June 26, 2008

"This light is very easy to use and can be placed anywhere in the boat, it is very light weight and holds a charge well. On the down side the suction cups do not hold well and you will need to tie the light to your siderails or cleats or it will be sinking soon. Also, the curved body does not spread the light as advertised. I placed the light in the center of my boat for two of us to use and we had to stand side by side for the light to help. You will need one of these lights per person in your boat. The red and white led lights are very handy as well."

"This was the worst purchase that I have ever made. The light is not even bright enough to shine half of a bass boat. And the product its self is not no were near the size that it looks on this page. I would not recomend this product to anyone whether you fish all the time or just a begginer. Please look else were than this product of a black light!!!!!
