Garmin® retooled its legendary technology into the most advanced, yet user-friendly handheld GPS receiver unit it has ever offered. This premium unit is much easier to operate than previous generations. Just one look and you'll see the simplicity built into its slim and rugged design. Its IPX7 waterproof construction will serve you well in the backcountry against nature's infirmities. The Colorado's centerpoint of control is an innovative Rock 'N Roller wheel that allows you to input data with ease. The sleek new design isn't all that will impress you; you'll be amazed with its rich content and features that blow away past models. A built-in 3-D basemap also handles general map navigation with ease. You'll get crystal clear image rendering from the 400x240-pixel output. The Colorado serves up a two-axis compass, an altimeter and an outdoor temperature sensor. The unit is also capable of running Walk the Trail, which is a rich 3-D mapping tool (requires 400T or cartography with detailed Digital Elevation Model data such as Topo 2008). It offers wireless exchange of user routes, tracks, waypoints, geocaches, images and ANT wireless communications. Operates on two NiMH AA batteries or lithium batteries. An SD card slot lets you expand the Colorado's memory. An Instructional DVD is now available for the Colorado units.

Colorado 300 - The base model offering in the Colorado line with a rich presentation and easy-to- use controls.

Colorado 400T - Comes preloaded with US Topo maps. It also has Walk the Trail; a 3-D mapping tool which is great for backpacker and hikers.
