NOT 72" Long,

"I purchased this cot based on the online description that it was 72" Long. It is not. It is the standard 80" Long. Because of this I had to return it. However, It did seem like a comfortable and durable cot."

Best Night's sleep in a tent, ever!!!,

"I normally don't take the time to review products but I just had to on this one. I am an avid camper and spend multiple nights at a time in a tent. I have tried every cot, pad, and air mattress out there and have never had a great sleep while camping. I always thought that it was just part of camping. I decided to try this cot for a week long camping trip in Florida. This cot is almost as good as sleeping in your own bed at home. I can't say enough about how comfortable this cot is, just fantastic. I am a big guy and there is room for me to roll from side to side. It is rather heavy because of the sturdy construction but it comes with a carry bag that is of good quality.
Bottom line, this is a great cot and worth the price.

A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP,

"My wife and I are in our mid 60's and wanted to return to tent camping after a 30 year absence. One component of a good camping experience is a good night sleep so I chose to spend the money for Cabela's lounge cots for the both of us. These may probably be the best camping investment I made as we both slept very well, and we have temperpedic mattress's at home. They are very well constructed of excellent material and are very strong (I weigh over 300). These cots will convert easily to a chaise lounge for reading or casual resting. Understand that these are not backpacking cots as they are heavy and somewhat cumbersome. They come with a canvas bag for storage and carrying. The adjustable legs are a plus if you have trouble getting up from a low position. One could use these cots for visitors or for visiting. They fold up for storage but require some space. These cots worked very well for us and are very comfortable."

"Cot is big and heavey, but so am I. Has a very nice zippered cover/carrier and set up is simple enough. To exit you have to climb over the edge as you sink below the well padded frame. Found slepping to be very comfortable and better than most motels."

"I purchased the Cabela's Lounge Cot after looking at a few of the other offerings, (bedchairs), available through some of the dedicated Carp anglers web sites. I liked the Cabela's LC due to its robust frame and weight rating of 350 lbs...(I go 300lbs+). This is also its only draw back as it is somewhat heavy to transport to your swim if you have to walk very far. The included carrying case does help a lot in this respect. It is very comfortable and I had no problem dropping off to sleep on this cozy bed. I would consider this a great buy at this price point and recommend it highly."

"This baby is the Lambourgini of the cot world. It is not a backpackers cot by any means, too large for that. We do tent camping and camping out of the back of our pick-up truck. I prefer this to my own bed, feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud. The legs are infinately adjustable to accomidate rough terrain. It has a nice thick pad sewn in to the bottom which if you ever slept on a cot in cold weather you know you need a pad under you even with the best sleeping bag. I like it so much I even bought my wife one. Top ratings..."

"this cot is bulky but it does sleep like a good bed. only used 2 times but it is very comfy and seems to be built well. worth the money if it holds up.
pro's
very comfortable
high off the ground when adjusted all the way up
each leg can be adjusted to accomodate uneven ground
very quiet. makes no noise when you move around

need a bigger bag. the one you get will work but could be bigger"

"After sleeping on the Cabela's lounge cot for 3 nights on a recent camping trip, I give the cot very high marks for comfort. The added bonus of the ability to turn the cot into a lounge chair simply by turning two side knobs makes this cot very useful. With 3 adjustable legs and feet , the cot is very stable. The cot is a little heavy but the carrying case has a shoulder strap as well as a handle which helps. We took the cot straight from the box it arrived in to our camp site and were very pleased with it in all respects. This cot is larger than most that we looked at and takes up quite a bit of space in the luggage compartment. Our order from Cabela's actually arrived faster than promised. We highly recommend this cot."

"The cot is a little on the pricy, heavy and bulky side. But if you want to sleep in comfort at your kids home with limited sleeping space, this is the way to go. I sleep like a rock when I stay at their home. The cot sets up and takes down in about two minutes and stores very nicely. A new grandpa."

"The picture looks great, but when I got it I found that it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. It's bulky like it says in the description so I wasn't surprised there. Other than the fact that it's kinda hard I gave it a 4 star rating because it's definitely an above average cot."

"Had the cot delivered the first time it came damaged due to shipping and flimsy box.The product was returned for another and the second cot had a malfunction with a spring that extends the legs,i repaired this on my own.Cot is comfortable but wondering about the durability and quality of the product.Like mentioned in previous reviews,the bag it is stored in barely fits the cot.For the money i expected more from a cabelas product."

"I purchased this cot soley for Elk and Deer camp and it is great. I really like to adjustable legs and sturdy design. This is not a cot you can pack around I new that before I bought it. If your not going to pack it around and want a great cot this is the one."
