"I was hoping the fabric on this jacket would be softer and more flexable. It is a lot like canvas.
I tried to was the jacket to possibly remove starch or anything making it over stiff. I ended up not taking it with me on the trip I had purchased it for.
Perhaps I will like the jacket more after further washing?
It looks pretty on the hanger but I like fabrics to move in."

"Just got this jacket the day before yesterday and I'm glad I read the reviews before ordering. I'm a solid medium when it comes to ordering tops and jackets, however, I listened to what everyone was saying about ordering a size down. I ordered a small, and I'm glad I did. It fits perfect!
The photo is a bit deceiving as it does make it look more fitted than it actually is, however a few of the reviewers had mentioned this as well, so it was no surprise. Even though it is a bit square in design, it suits me fine, it's a comfortable, light jacket that dresses up a pair of jeans really well.
I'm very happy with this purchase - it's casual and dressy at the same time and I feel great in it."

"I ordered the clay color - I wasn't so sure that I liked the color when I opened the package, but the more I wear it the more I like it. It looks nice with dark jeans, khaki, brown, cream and beige, so is more versatile than I first thought. The fabric stays crisp all day long. I appreciated the advice to order a size smaller, I did and it fits perfectly. It works well as a layered look for indoors at work, or as an outdoor jacket. Since we live in different states and she likes the same colors I do, I think I may order another one for my mother as a gift for Mother's Day."

"I love this jacket, not real fitted but looks nice anyway. I'm normally a 12/14 so I ordered a medium and it's a tiny bit big but even if it doesn't draw up (it's 100% cotten) it will be ok. I would like to have another one in a different color."

"Excellent quality, beautiful fabric and design. This jacket fits perfectly dispite my long arms and wide shoulders, as I wear Med. or Lg. depending on the fit-and this jacket fits trimly at the waist and hip in a Lg. rather than being too wide. I still have room for a sweater or even a light fleece vest/shirt, and can turn back the cuffs comfortably. I would definitely recommend this to a friend."
