Love it!,September 9, 2009
By AmberBfrom California
"The Eureka Mesh House is great, good quality and easy to put up. The recommendation on other reviews to connect the roof clips before raising the tent were definitely a good idea. We had initially bought a cheaper version and had to return it before we had even used it because the mesh was ripped. This happened twice. This screen house is definitely worth the extra money."

good tent glad I bought it,September 1, 2009
By Nerkafrom Bristol Bay AK
"I had a cheaper brand screen tent that worked well but wore out and didn't have side curtains. I've looked at this tent for over a year but hesitated due to expense. Finally bought it and I'm glad. It paid for itself on my first moose hunt. When the wind wasn't blowing 20-40 mph, the bugs came out in droves on the calm. This tent kept the noseeums at bay and with half the curtains down was warm enough with just a propane lantern for heat. I was REALLY impressed how the tent took the high winds. We guyed the tent heavily by tying cords to the poles and staking well. Also by not putting all the curtains down we reduced the wind drag. Many tents would have failed in the gusty winds (4 days worth).
Pros, - side curtains, good height, easy setup tho 2 people work best. Black netting easier to see out of than white, sturdy and can take wind. Good zippers. Snap In floor option - I got the floor but haven't used it yet.
Con, would prefer a lighter fabric color, tan, white yellow to better reflect light at night. A few more pole to fabric clips might be a good idea plus some tie down loops. Cost is a bit high but on sale I feel its worth it."

as expected,July 28, 2009

"it worked well for 5 days of solid rain. the zipper worked very well. small confusion at the outset to unpack and set up, but it quickly became apparent (that the heavy metal piece goes in the middle and faces up)...easy after that. it did a great job at keeping mosquitos out too... we were missing a stake, but we made do with what was provided."

Fantastic Product,October 6, 2008
By RobertJFfrom Millbury, Ma
"Just used this screentent for camping and love it. It is by far the most versatile tent going. Bad weather? No problem, just drop the sides. Also close them up for privacy or keeping in the heat in cold weather. We use a Big Buddy heater and it kept it cozy in low forties. Had to turn it down. During the day, you can roll up the sides and the screening if you want to open it up. You can buy extra poles to make four sides awning in sunny places if you like. Eureka also sells a floor that snaps in but I do not plan to add that. It is very sturdy and a cinch to put up. Just attach the clips before you raise the poles. Eureka tells you to attach them after you raise it but this is ok only if you are seven feet tall. This is our kitchen, living room, sun room when camping. This is the best all around tent/gazebo/rain shelter etc. on the market."

Eureka Northern Breeze Screen House,August 3, 2008
By Marty08from Wisconsin
"Tent is well constructed with durable materials and has sturdy poles. We were looking for a screen tent that had storm panels to use when it rains or is windy. We are pleased with the product. The only minor inconvenience it the height of the poles making it difficult to attach the top clips, but you can clip them on before you raise the tent. It is worth the money spent."

WOW!!!,June 25, 2008
By MamaEchofrom midwest
"After MUCH research I actually decided on another brand of screen room. Well, I will just say that even with my husband's and I considerable experience, we couldn't set it up without breaking a pole. So I decided to try this one. I wanted a screen room where I could close it up in case of rain and not have to stow everything every time. I was SO empressed with this tent. The set up is a breeze. The poles are very strong and reinforced. The flaps are very easy to roll up out of the way and come down in a snap for those sudden rains. There is also a loop at the peak for a lantern. It is very sturdy. We have a lantern that take 8 d batteries and it didn't sag at all. The only bummer about it is...it is on the dark side. The top and flaps are a dark blue and the screen is black. When I first set it up in our yard I was kind of bummed about it but when we had it set up for camping I didn't even notice it at all. Very worth the price. My new favorite piece of equipment!"

not Cabelas best,June 25, 2008
By Jayphethfrom Wadsworth, Ohio
"The screen house is ok as far as easy of set up (you need 2 people and a step stool or a 7 ft. person). I like the ability to choose how to put the flaps. The problem with it is it comes with no guy-lines. You will need to make an extra trip to the store to buy some. It says it is good in the wind but without the guy-lines I would not try it. It is too light weight to stand up to any amount of wind without guy-lines. At this price point EVERYTHING should be included."
